Police Warfare - a new Kickstarter project in the vein of Call of Duty

I meant, what happens to the money already pledged.
They just don't get it.
Every Kickstarter project must be fully funded before its time expires or no money changes hands.

Why?

1. It's less risk for everyone. If you need $5,000, it's tough having $2,000 and a bunch of people expecting you to complete a $5,000 project.

2. It allows people to test concepts (or conditionally sell stuff) without risk. If you don't receive the support you want, you're not compelled to follow through. This is huge!

3. It motivates. If people want to see a project come to life, they're going to spread the word.

Vacation time with the $25,000?

You have no idea how Kickstarter works, do you?

So basically they kickstarted just to build hype for the project.
Well, almost they were honest on putting an huge goal.

325k is not a huge goal for a modern first person shooter but let's say they had gotten funded...anyone who pledged to whatever tier would get their reward and it would be a much more polished project now that they have actual funding from a studio so people would get a publisher backed man shooter with whatever shwag was promised.
