PS, I Love You- Greg Miller's new PlayStation Podcast

Where's that crow for all of those downplaying the impact this was having on the team.?

Now we know what Erin was talking about in that tweet she deleted.

I would love this but considering that he has a kid (wait, does he have two now? I can't remember...) I have to wonder if the security of a job at PlayStation would be too difficult to leave.

Yeah, good point. Ryan seems like it'd be the best and most logical replacement, but you're right, he might not want to do that.

Was totally bound to happen. KF will definitely be better off without him in the long run, but still a shame he couldn't have maybe just made an effort to be more of a team player. (Who knows what really went down behind the scenes though?)

His personal ideals clash too much with the ideals that KF generally tries to promote. So in a way I guess this was inevitable in a way.

Knew Colin's ego wouldn't allow him to get beyond this. But I think in the long run both Kinda Funny and Colin will be better off.

I'm actually looking forward to what content Colin produces afterwards. He has been veering more into intellectual discussion with ColinWasRight, so it makes sense he wants to move away from the KF Morning show and PSILY because he has lost interest. Some of his best content has been him just talking to people, in particular was one conversation he had with a robotics specialist which was talking about the philosophy of AI.

As I said in the previous post, I think this will be better for KF and Colin in the long run, with Colin focusing on what he loves, politics and philosophy.

Cool. Besides all of his politics stuff (which I find abhorrent and unnecessary for a gaming podcast), his interest in gaming has seriously lapsed. He's taken several prolonged gaming breaks, dismisses new games often within minutes and complains about there being "too many" games. He's also embraced a gaming equivalent of a "hot-take" pundit where he'll often say things seemingly just to get a reaction. Some of things he's said in the last year or so have been woefully incorrect and short-sighted and when faced with actual resistance or facts he rarely if ever admits he's wrong or shows willingness to explore new things. He's stuck in his ways and likes the isolation and playing the victim.

This podcast should be better and it should evolve. Hopefully they have Tim on and get a 3rd permanent host that's knowledgeable as well.

Also a plus, I can hopefully start listening to this podcast again without feeling guilty about it.

Seems like it is best for all parties involved.

Already re-added gameovergreggy and PS I love you to my podcast feed.

PS, I think it would be very beneficial for KF to hire an Austin Walker-Patrick Klepek type. Someone who can go more into the journalism side to balance out their Consumer Entertainment side.

Ah, finally some peace and quiet

Well, it's kinda sad... that he'll probably have a soap box in the media where he can continue to support candidates that want tax breaks for the rich and throwing minorities under the bus.

People just couldn't look at Colin the same after those election night tweets. Something changed in the minds of people and they look at him as just the kind of guy that made the rise of Trump possible.

I hope that they don't get Clements. He's doing just fine at Sony.

Maybe they can talk to Goldfarb?

Wow. Probably for the best if I'm honest.

Also man Greg and Tim will be vilified by the Colin followers from now on, because they'll think they kicked him out.

Actually, Vincent Ingenito would be an AMAZING addition to Kinda Funny. I would love to see that! He was unfortunately laid off from IGN last week and is no doubt looking for his next major gig.

Jeeze, look at the chat. "BLAME THE LIBS" "HAIL COLIN" "#ISTANDWITHCOLIN". With the audience Colin was attracting this was definitely the best case for all involved.

The Arthur stuff is really interesting, I remember them Game Scooping together back in the day. It's interesting to see him be so frank about a former co-worker.

Buh-bye now, enjoy life in your echo chamber. You'll do well, have a cult following, but you're still just a sad person imo.

OTOH, now I can resubscribe to KF without feeling pangs of woe.

Well, that's that. Hopefully KF can get back to what it was supposed to, a welcoming and chill place to talk about games and other topics.

I think what happened is Colin had a better offer and decided to leave the guys behind.

He used the tweet fiasco as an excuse

If you wanna be evil you could think he 'caused the tweet fiasco so he could have an excuse to leave, although I don't think so
