My photos for the new thread:

PS Vita photographies

I just took some pictures with my Canon 60D:

Some review copies

Should I take more pictures?

Anyway, which of my games can be played without a memory card?

Yes please, your pictures look great.

Guys, please help me out on this one. I wanna buy two US Vita games ( FIFA soccer and Wipeout ). But will the content be the same and will I be able to go online on a European network?

Any word on this?

FIFA does not use an online pass so you're good to go online for that game.

But Wipeout 2048 has an online pass and I think that is region specific. If you want to play this game online on your European account, you might need to buy an online pass from the European PSN store.

Gah. This sucks.

Since NZ is the most ahead timezone, we should be the first to get it, should be out now actually;(It's 12:30 AM, 22nd Feburary)
But damn bastards made the release date for aus/nz to be the 23rd. I will now have to get it after everyone else. :(

EDIT: actually, now that i calculated it; we only get it a few hours after americans... guess it isn't too bad.

Uhh, none of them, what youve got there are download code cards for your reviewing purposes, right?
That means you need a card to download them to.

No, it's not download cards. These are actual games on the cards.
I'll get download codes for 6 other games later today.

A size comparison: iPhone 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Don't mind the smudges, I really don't care about it on my phone, though there's a screen protector on it. =p

Should I quote the pictures to make them even smaller? We don't want this thread to become a 56k gallery but I think they are pretty low in size?

I ordered on Sunday too, still 'processing in warehouse'

You guys should have/get a email soon which basically says thanks for ordering, we are now processing it and it will be handed over to DPD today for delivery tomorrow. Even with that email it will still sit as processing in warehouse. You then get another email once it's dispatched, I don't think anyone will have one of them yet.

A few people who ordered there have had that email. It's not the email you get strait after placing the order.

Cheers guy's.

Unfotunately I haven't received the 'DPD' email yet, but did have to phone them yesterday to verify my details for whatever reason... Think they had a bit of bother getting through to my bank.

Anyhoo will give them a phone at Lunch just too make sure it's getting sent out today.

Tomorrow is the great day! YEAH!

In the previous vita thread i've seen an asphalt screenshot, can someone please post more of it? I know that it's an overpriced iphone game, but i like arcade racing game, i'd like some impressions and images.

This has to be the most stacked day one I've ever experienced, by far.

Stuff ordered:

3G/Wifi Vita
16GB card
Rayman Origins
Lumines: Electric Symphony
Dungeon Hunter: Alliance (it was a fiver in that Amazon.co.uk mishap :p)

Stuff I will get:
Escape Plan
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
MotorStorm: RC
Super Stardust Delta
Wipeout 2048

Stuff thinking about:

Starter Kit
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend
Everybody’s Golf: World Invitational
Ridge Racer
StarDrone Extreme
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition
FIFA Football

PSP games I am thinking about that I haven't played:
A metric tonne, too many to list

Oh shit.

That's some list!

Wifi, 8gig, uncharted, escape plan, motorstorm RC, and GOW GoS for me!

At a later stage I'll pick up Rayman and Gravity Daze when it's released.

Very usefull information thanks! So, if I buy the US version of Wipeout I have to redeem the code (online pass), and you think that this code might not work on my European network.

Can anyone confirm this please?

The problem is you can't carry an online pass to the other memory cards tied to the other account.

I was going to wait until I saw review scores for MLB 12 to get a Vita, but I don't think I can hold on that long. I mean, it's been a month since I bought a new toy, I'm overdue!

They ask you to phone because of extra security checks. Hope we get a dispatch email today.

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
Vita arrived!

But then 10 minutes later:

Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:

"Thrustmaster V.I.P Case for PS Vita (PlayStation Vita)"
Estimated arrival date: March 03 2012

WELL THATS FUCKING STUPID. So now I have no case...

Ok so the buy 2 get 1 deal from Amazon is pretty much SHIT now b/c there is no more UMvC3 (2-5 WEEKS, yes, WEEKS) and no Fifa or Wipeout either so I went with Uncharted, Rayman and Lumines. I wouldnt have normally spent 40 bucks on a puzzle game but its free so whatever. I guess I can make my way to Gamestop tomorrow to see if I can find a copy of UMvC3. I'm a sad panda! :(

So tomorrow at my door I should see:

Vita Wifi
4gb memory (I'm gonna go hard copies with this system since PSP go was such a huge letdown with half the library not even on PSN, HELLO Crisis Core sony????)
UC:GA
Rayman (my first Rayman game, yay)
Lumines
PS Vita travel pouch (black)

This has to be the most stacked day one I've ever experienced, by far.

Stuff ordered:

3G/Wifi Vita - Snap
16GB card - 32gb
Rayman Origins - Snap
Lumines: Electric Symphony - Snap
Dungeon Hunter: Alliance (it was a fiver in that Amazon.co.uk mishap :p) - Not if you paid me

Stuff I will get:
Escape Plan - Snap
Uncharted: Golden Abyss - Snap
MotorStorm: RC - Snap
Super Stardust Delta - Snap
Wipeout 2048 - Snap

This launch has cost me £415 so far but I've got Rayman and an 8GB card to sell (got 2 copies of rayman). Glorious.

Also amazing to see it reach a second thread the day before the system even goes on WW release.

I've put an order in with Zavvi for the VIP case too so whomever ships first wins. Zavvi was cheaper too. Why in gods fuck you wouldn't get your accessories to people on the launch day I don't know.

Now, all chant with me. Please not HDNL, Please not HDNL, Please not HDNL.

Vita arrived!

But then 10 minutes later:

WELL THATS FUCKING STUPID. So now I have no case...

Same boat. I'm going to use the foamy bag it comes in for now. Maybe wrap it in a towel or something in my bag too.

I have not even turned on my PlayStation Vita yet, I'm still taking pictures of it 2 hours after I have gotten it haha.

I have had it for two hours as well, but I just started charging it. Mine has cat hairs on it already, those things are like heat seeking missiles.

Amazon says I'll get my games tomorrow. I hope that means my free memory card as well.

Ah that explains that then. Between the Line not being very clear and her American accent I was having a bit of trouble making out what she was saying over the phone.

I'll give it another hour or 2 before phoning up then. Won't be in on Thursday to get it and will have to wait til friday if it doesn't come tomorrow.

Hmm...is Frobisher Says out tomorrow? For preorder people? TheSixthAxis knows its download size (400MB) which makes me wonder if it's in the launch day batch.

There was a few things I was wondering about this.

Is the game free for everyone? If not does early access mean we get it for free? Or that we just get the first chance to buy it before everyone else?

The later is kinda shit.

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012...ore-update-ps-vita-launch-edition/#more-57876

Uk update store goes live later this evening .

Tomorrow, PlayStation Vita launches across the PAL regions and here is the full list of what will be available to download when PlayStation Store is live on the system later this evening. We believe that the PS Vita launch line-up is the strongest in PlayStation history and this list of games and other content, some of which is completely free, is testament to that.
Don’t forget that if you already own Hustle Kings, Top Darts or Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom DLC on PS3, you can also use it on your PS Vita at no extra charge.
Have a blast and look forward to the PS3 store update coming soon. See you (or the digital formations of you) there.

Vita arrived!

But then 10 minutes later:

Dude... its a case. Amazon shipped my Vita today and I will get it tomorrow, but my Memory card will only arrive 2 days later. THATS stupid.

Amazonnnnn! the release of the Thrustmaster S.P.F carrying case has been delayed until 5.3.2012

also it seems that my local dealer is giving me the shaft by not shipping the memory card for release... it will be painful to just look at my games and not be able to play them.

You remind me, I should charge it lol - doing it now and so took a picture of the plug:

To me, it's really obvious which way it should go in, notice the PlayStation logo which have to point upward.

Do you like the HMZ-T1?
Is it good? :)
It's awesome, even though I haven't used it for like 2 weeks. Ergonomics leaves a lot to be desired but it's easy to put on your head.

Has anyone bought from Lockerz.com before? Are they reliable?
I'm just waiting for them to send my memory card. It's really dumb Sony didn't include just a 4GB in the package.

Looks like it's not available tomorrow though, or at least not generally.

But Foursquare seems to be there, which is nice.

Awesome, demos for Uncharted and Wipeout. I had thought about buying one of them mostly as a graphics demo but I guess I can wait.

I'm hoping you can start downloading these to a PS3 today, so it's just a matter of transferring tomorrow.

Vita has been dispatched and I just went to reception to see if I can pick it up earlier than the 3pm time they usually give. They're going to keep a look out. So excited.

So I bet this was covered a lot in the last thread, but I'm so tempted to get this now, and I need to ask this: to save a game, you need a memory card, and there is no way to save on the device itself, right? But the standard pack doesn't come with a memory card, unless there is a bundle or something. yes?

In the bus on my way to the Vita launch event in Berlin. Any Berlin Gaffers at the Sony Center tonight?

Not me.

The idea sounds fun enough (Even with the risk of being on a bus with dozens of neckbeards) and the free games are super sweet, but the closest busses are still a long way off from where I live. Maybe they'll route one through Heidelberg, then I should kick myself for not going.

Sony Center is mindblowing. That alone would be worth the time.

Yep, not buying UMvC3. 44,99 euros and then 4,99 for Jill? Seriously Capcom? The fuck are you people thinking?

Getting Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and very tempted by Dynasty Warriors Next. Haven't fought the Yellow Turban Rebellion in a long while. Or maybe I'll just buy some cheaper PSP games besides NGS+.

Exactly. No memory card in the package unless one is with a bundle. And you need a memory card not only to save but also to play the games (like Uncharted).

Here's my review copies, they aren't download codes but actual cartridges

Portable system. Am going on several coach and train trips this weekend, was going to be the systems first loving outdoors jaunt. Will have to pick up another case in the meantime before the actual one arrives.

Missing launch is unfathomably stupid.

Very glad to see Mutant Blobs Attack there for the UK store!

Currently signed into my JPN account and loading up on demoes since I dont have any games arrived yet and cant wait til tonight (altho a Unit 13 demo, sweet!). Can I reset the Vita system and then login to my UK account without having to take the memory card out?

I appreciate most of the SEN prices for the full price games. I don't think anything should be above £40 on there but oh well.

£30 for the likes of Everybody's Golf is great. I'll be picking up some SEN cards tonight for it.
