Isn't Destiny still profitable?so was Destiny
Honestly, the only take-away from this statement is "don't read too much into it."
He's a marketing guy toeing the company line.
If Sony didn't have NMS, then he would simply substitute NMS with Battlefront. If they had Uncharted, he would've replaced it with Uncharted.
Still aiming for 2015.So it has been officially delayed to 2016?
That's probably because they have nothing else to put their full support behind.
Well, what I mean is, Destiny still came out on Xbox One despite being treated like a first-party release.
But it's not, They should keep their money for real first party games.
That's probably because they have nothing else to put their full support behind.
Like Puppeteer and Tearaway? Like Rain, Soul Sacrifice Delta and Oreshika?
I'm looking forward to checking the game out. Setting that aside,
Indie dev's continuing to fill that "AA" hole that now defunct mid-tier publishers used to fill. i approve.
Cant wait for E3 when Sony closes the conference with another NMS trailer :/
That's probably because they have nothing else to put their full support behind.
so was Destiny
Yep. We need that mid-tier back. Game looks worth checking out.
I wonder if MS should use this tactic for the nine first months of the year then.
If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated like a first-party release
They did that for Destiny and it sold more on xbox, I mean... what a shot in the foot.
Why so glum? This game is the definition of gamechanger if its well executed. Sony is smart touting this game.

Source? I was under the impression it sold more on PS4.

he forgot that official bundles don't count...

If you followed sales at all you'd know how goddamn ignorant this makes you sound. They did that for Destiny and it sold more on xbox, I mean... what a shot in the foot.
Funny how all the people who moan about Sony not having games at the end of the year never mention this fact.I wonder if MS should use this tactic for the nine first months of the year then.

PlayStation fans aren't available to make that comment because they're too busy playing Bloodborne.Funny how all the people who moan about Sony not having games at the end of the year never mention this fact.
Sony spreads their games out, not hold them all for the last 3 months to try and combat their lack of sales because they don't have to worry about that.
he forgot that official bundles don't count...
And I imagine, priced like a first party release as well.
That's probably because they have nothing else to put their full support behind.

Is this true? All forums and Destiny threads seem to have way more Ps4 players than XBoxOne players. Just from my community experience I thought that it sold close to double on Ps4 compared to XB1. I would be really surprised if it sold more on XB1.
The GAF OT for Destiny feels like 80% Ps4, 20% XB1 tbh.
I really hope this whole build up and hype for NMS comes to fruition
Whatever, Sony. I don't really think Hello Games needs that much help at this point, the game will be a big hit regardless.
Apparently retail copies yes. But bundled and digital? Not a chanceIs this true? All forums and Destiny threads seem to have way more Ps4 players than XBoxOne players. Seriously? Wht have they done to make you say that?I wouldn't trust the flip floppers over at Hello Games.
