I think they are going to show the full playthru of the stuff they showed the press a few months back. Maybe a new trailer with some new stuff.
When did this happen? Can someone link me to the existing gameplay? I didn't know they had released anything about this game at all since the CG announcement trailer.

Probably depends on if they're streaming directly from a PS4 when they do the stream later. So, don't know.

Here's a thought: How would a developer of a game he's making not know that Sony were going to demo his game on Twitch? Answer (possibly): because they are now part of Sony and Sony are in charge of what they can show and what they can't.

The reveal trailer was not CG, it was real-time like everything else in the game.

Usually devs give their publisher A LOT of promotional material, and publisher decides what will released when.

This is probably one of the best looking games I've ever seen. Excited to see more, whatever they show.
Your answer makes no sense.
Sony are publishing anyway, they don't have to tell RAD either way.
There are two possibilities, Sony have the builds and can do whatever they want anyway, which is true, but more likely the material to be shown was prepared with RAD, they just didn't know it was to be shown now.

He's not wrong. From the footage shown earlier, the game looks like another third person shooter, but with quick time event melee.
Looks pretty though, so that should suffice for many.

It's up to the publisher to decide when and how to use specific footage.
This time it sounds like it was a rather quick decision to show the footage.

I mention destiny because it will probably sell more than any other game on PS4. Sony seems to be marketing the hell of it too.
