Wearing a durger costume is an integral part of any field of journalism.
As Fletch teaches us, mastery of disguise is a big part of journalism.
Wearing a durger costume is an integral part of any field of journalism.
Fun fact, Bob Woodward spent upwards of 15 hours a day wearing a pizza costume, the traditional uniform of investigative journalism. He'd just shake his head if you tried showing up in a hot dog suit though. Just more proof that games "journalism" has a long way to go.
Quick Look: Saints Row: The Third: Genkibowl VII (Ryan/Jeff) (9:46)
I watched it before I posted. It just didn't look as interesting as their other SR3 videos they showed. Shooting dozens of enemies in close quarters doesn't seem like what people are looking for in this game.
Oh ok. The quick look still sucks though.
Reminds me of this guy. Or maybe they're the same person.Patrick wears his hot dog costume all day, every day and does nothing else.
One of the worst quick looks I've seen on the site. Not really surprised given the knowledge of what Genki is from playing through the game. However learning that there is a different activity in the DLC besides genkibowl is a pretty glaring omission for a quick look so short.
Yeah, there's 4 new activities:
The one in the quicklook, a skydiving one, crushing everything in your path with a giant ball of yarn, and one where you drive professor Genki around in a car with flamethrowers.
You also get some new homies and vehicles and such.
It's short, but not bad IMO.
Sounds like more of the boring shit that I only touched when I was forced to by the games terrible introduction sequence.
kind of disappointed robbie's character model isnt just Rob Van Dam.
I just hope THQ can stay around long enough to finish and release the gangsters in space DLC.
The DLC is shit, they dismissed it in a fair amount of time. They already knew vaguely what it was since they mentioned the ball of wool.
They took the shitty side missions from the main game, changed them slightly, and charged £5 for it, and it was on the disc. It's everything that's shitty about DLC.
That's just what they want you to think. It's not on the disc, it's a couple hundred meg download.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't for me.It's not on the disc, it's a couple hundred meg download.

EDIT: It's 1751KB.
real cool stuff. shattered horizon was real cool too, I suspect futuremark is a straight up real cool developer. Hope this does better for them than shattered horizon.
They announced another game along side unstoppable gorg, no? prolly gonna be real cool.
I am, but I didn't download a patch this week. Are you on PS3? I know they tend to put DLC like that in patches on PS3 (since there's no size limit on updates) so that those playing multiplayer can still see it in game. That's what they did with Mortal Kombat for example. That'd explain why your download was smaller than mine, as I'm on 360.

If there's one thing that's true about Giant Bomb it's that they haven't given SR3 a fair shake.
Commander World One did that awhile back, and it did it better.

What It Is: Street Fighter X Tekken (Jeff/Brad) (25:59)
Damn, that looks dope. It's like the parts of MvC that I like(which isn't a lot) and the parts of SF4 that I like(which is a lot)
I'll buy those too :3how do you feel about mad amounts of powerful, gameplay affecting dlc? :3

Yeah, but I'm sure there's money involved there. If you did Mike Haggar, Namco would say 'well put in Knightmare' or somethingLooks interesting, but the gem system seems overly complicated. Or maybe it was poorly explained. Sifting through that menu and equipping various gem properties that activate based on specific situations or challenges? Sounds like it is over-complicating the game. Probably not in reality, but again, not described well in that vid.
Funny how the discussion veered off into whom would be viable on the roster for a SF vs. Tekken game. Mike Haggar couldn't make it in because he's Final Fight...yet here is Cole from Infamous and those two Sony cat mascots in Japan. Fucking hell.
I think I'm the only person on NeoGAF who loves how SFxT looks. So vibrant.

I think it looks gorgeous. The backgrounds might be the best I've ever seen out of Capcom with all the crazy shit going on back there.
They also forgot that Poison was in the game, and didn't know about Pac-Man and Megaman.
