Origin has been having issues all evening.
MuthaFuckaAntiAliasing...
MultiFrame sampled AntiAliasing, a nvidia tech.
Didn't try it as game already looks good with TSAA + DSR. Titanfall 2 is not listed, but Titanfall 1 is:

Yeah I'm also wondering this. Even switching desktop res didn't work for me as it still detects 1080p as my native res.

AO just tanked my fps in the first game as well, figured it was tied into its implementation of their modified engine.
I really hope they allow us to disable it in a future patch or the community finds a way to disable it. I'll hold off playing the game until it happens.
I don't, the popular PC performance threads usually mean something is wrong lol.

It also means more people are playing the game. TF1 had lots of performance issues, but the community death meant more in the end
Popular games will usually always have big performance threads. Either complaining or, best case, bragging about FPS

man, I wish Respawn had performance preset options so I won't have to fiddle with every little thing

It would be nice to have more people reporting on their performance, but I hope less replies means people are getting the performance they expect and nothing's seriously amiss.
Try the -fullscreen launch option. There's more launch options in the OP if you're interested.
Lowering it helped me a bit, but it is always present.

There is a borderless windowed setting?
add -noborder and -windowed to your launch options
You can force any resolution editing the config files at %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Respawn\Titanfall2\

Rule of thumb number 1 for me when installing a new game: fiddle with config files and put some Reshade if it needs it.

Man, I keep getting crashes every few hours.

Everywhere says it's driver related and some speculation on possible overclocks being the culprit. I have a 6700K with a 7% OC so I can't imagine it's that. And stock speeds on my 980 SC.

Have you tried not overclocking ?
I had to reduce the OC on my 1070. Was getting dancing bright glows all over the screen.

The cpu? No. the gpu isn't overclocked (above factory OC)
I'm convinced there's a memory leak going on. Same thing happens to me (although I'm getting crashes as well).

Anyone feel that the mouse is a bit off?
I have v-sync turned off, mostly locked to 60FPS.. and I notice a very slight mouse delay...not sure what it is.
After playing BF1 and other FPS games, the mouse movement in TF2 just feels a bit strange to me... haven't seen anyone else mention this yet.
Is there any option for mouse acceleration or raw mouse input? if not in-game perhaps in the config file somewhere?

There's an option if you add it to your advanced launch options via Origin.
You need to type "+m_rawinput 1" into Advanced Launch Options under your Game Properties for Titanfall 2 in Origin. It helped me a lot, too.

I ran Titanfall 1 at mostly high (I forget exactly what but like not ultra, but definitely most high with some up or down from there) on my PC and it felt fine.
Does Titanfall 2 require much more from my PC?

You can enable that via Nvidia drivers on a per-game basis. Not sure about AMD.

Yep, this is happening to me too. 3-4 matches in and my game will start stuttering like mad. Takes a good minute or two to exit the game.

Are you using the Origin overlay? I noticed a lot more stuttering with it on.

It drove me nuts but I eventually figured it out, go to your videoconfig file which will be under insaldrive:\Users\*username*\Documents\Respawn\Titanfall2\local then change the "setting.defaultres"
"setting.defaultresheight"
to whatever you want (3840x 2160 in my case)

The nvidia triple buffering option is opengl only
And has been this way since the beginning of time. I wish they named this option "Triple Buffering (OPENGL ONLY !!!11!11oneone!11!!).

This has been a known issue that Respawn has acknowledged. All you have to do is go to your network settings and disable all network adapters that isn't the one that connects you to the internet. For example, if you run a VPN, disable that adapter. I had this problem as well and it concerns me that there may be hundreds or even thousands of others who can't play online because of this issue.

Where do you buy the key from that got revoked?
I bought straight from Origin and when I looked into the 24h refund I must have had it go through. I don't remember wanting to do that but... maybe I lacked sleep haha
anyway it's all good now
Hmm this doesn't work for me.. Save file, start game and it still defaults below my native (1080P) : (

That's weird, is the file being re-written to another resolution? Try changing it and then setting it to readonly?
