It's kinda lame that we can read on the back of the Canadian box:

detailed artbook
Free soundtrack download
etc.

Sony could probably give us something since it's false publicity.
Ya it is.

This is ridiculous. I've been a HUGE TM fan since the first one and in fact asked for a PS1 from my parents because of TM1. I ****ing hate that we are getting the shaft like this.

Sweet, I got on to Jaffe's blog...again :p

I'm the 7th pic down (name is David). Nice of him to point out my message board support too :D . I've been a huge, vocal fan of both Jaffe and Incognito for quite some time on the IGN boards. I'll undoubtedly be a vocal fan of ESP as well.

Anyways, did anyone else notice that in the Crimson Fury ending FMV from TM1, Crimson Fury sounds A LOT like Jaffe? And it was the only video without an actor for the character on screen. So I think he did the voice for that one.

Either way, those videos were awesome :lol . My favourite one was definitely the Crimson Fury one too.

Dear Jaffe,

I really like the control in Lost, please keep it in the next game. Having a shortcut button for ice, mine, etc is really rev up the intensity in the multiplayer. Really appreciate your work.

I've only played around alil bit here and there so far but I love it! And even without video options I think it looks nice fullscreened and all of that. Its awesome how they have post-Black stories for the characters in Lost but it makes me even sadder we can't find out what happens next! There is one thing for me to complain though and thats a certain control change. Having to hold in R3 to use our Turbos sucks! In Black it was much easier just pressing the right stick up quickly twice. ;_;

Jaffe does it again!
EDIT: CANADA- I hear you guys and so you know, this whole thing is news to us at Eat Sleep Play (and perhaps SCEA as well).. No one ever mentioned that Canadians would get the shaft regarding art book and music. It is FIRST on my list to deal with when work opens tomorrow morning; I will keep you guys posted.

This is awesome news :D . I hope they can get something figured out for us.

I agree, and Jaffe admits in the interview that Black was too mired in the "story", who gives a damn, and the game play suffered because of it.

Twisted Metal 2 had much better level design and overall was much more fun than Silent Hill: The Road Trip.

Anybody playing Twisted Metal for story needs to be lobotomized.

hey now I liked Twisted Metal: Se7en Edition.

Got the game on sunday and its definitely a good buy. The only thing i didnt like was the encoding of the videos. For some weird reason, at one point, the video and audio got out of sync. Also the TM:Lost levels dont necessarily use the TMB engine which kind of made me sad. Its seems it was a mix of that and Head-on's. I dont understand why the mirror option was taken out and why some of the special moves(freeze, mine) where simplified.

Overall though, its a great package. Documentary was cool, has a cool soundtrack and TM:lost levels are nice for a woopin 20 bucks! If you havent picked it up yet, you should be ashamed.

I was watching some of the videos and sometimes I would lose the picture all together. I had to quit out of the game entirely, which isn't the easiest thing to do when you can't see the prompts. I was playing it on a 20 GB PS3. Anyone else have this issue?

I liked the story in Black and it kept me playing through with different characters to unlock everything. That being said, TM2 was and is my favorite of the series. The gameplay is just so spot on, with great, destructible environments, a truly varied selection of cars, and the added depth of the energy attacks. Everything melded together perfectly. It also had a great sense of humor which, for the most part, was lacking in Black.

Put more time into Head On and I'm liking it more and more. I do say, I'm enjoying it more at this point than I was Black, the environments are just more fun. I like the music more too (after the first level that is)....Black's tunes I wound up turning down after a few plays in favor of the sound effects. Still a little disappointed in the graphics and the lack of a widescreen option, but I'm coping.

For Canadian gamers who purchased Twisted Metal: Head On: Extra Twisted Edition:

A small issue prevented the The Art Of Twisted Metal pack-in booklet from being included with early retail versions of the game and we apologize for this omission. We’ve been working hard to get these ready, so if you’ve purchased the game and would like the booklet, please send us your contact information to the following address feedback_canada@playstation.sony.com. We’ll get these out as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience! In the meantime, we hope you continue to enjoy the game!

I want to bring this up one more time. Occasionally when watching the FMV movies I lose my picture entirely. Has anyone had any issues with the FMV sequences with this game when playing it on a PS3. I have a 20 GB so I have full hardware BC and I'm using HDMI.
