Don't forget the Supremes.
Oh yeah. That too, huh?
Don't forget the Supremes.
Hillary is done, right? They didn't want her in 2008, and not in 2016. Surely she has to give up on the dream...?
I think it's past time that your tag includes the word 'fascist'.She is beyond damaged goods at this point. She knows that.
Even if she wanted to run again, there is no way in hell they would nominate her again. Not after losing like this.

Not gonna happen.
But still, if the majority of ordinary voters vote for - let's use this election as an example - Clinton, but the majority of the electoral college votes go to Trump, Trump is seen as the winner in the state? This just seems a bit weird to me.
Does this mean that majority of white women voted trump?
Yes. Overwhelmingly.Does this mean that majority of white women voted trump?
France is next, same for Germany. My stomach is churning atm.
YUP!!!!!
Democracy fails when the population is uneducated and bigoted.
Does this mean that majority of white women voted trump?
I honestly wonder what Obama is thinking right now. Imagine after all the years of bullshit over his birth certificate, roasting him in 2011 and effectively encouraging him to run...and then he actually wins. And he has to brief him on presidential matters.
Goddamn that must feel shitty.
She just lost to what should've been the easiest opponent in the entire goddamned universe,
I didn't realize Lincoln was still serving.
Oh God, that feeling when you realize Trump is going to be added to a list that contains John Adams, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and FDR.
Wow at Hillary not even giving a speech to her supporters.
Obama is probably talking to Clinton and thinking what he can accomplish to salvage his legacy in two months before the Republic goes full Bananas
No. Winner of majority of votes in a state = winner of electoral college votes for that state. Winner of the majority of EC votes = president of the United States.
I'm going to go on a long rant here and I'm sure in this fast moving thread no one will read it, but it's going to be at least a little cathartic. I'm also going to put this forum on blast a bit.
You know, I'm just going to take a moment to say that some of us tried to warn so many of you. The whole "social justice warrior" online movement or whatever you want to call it that this forum in particular has come to be dominated by. Shame and spite do not do anything to help one's cause.
Unrepentantly calling all white people racists and bigots and sexists and misogynists is what brought this on. I've joked on here about voting for and supporting Trump, but god knows I never actually did. But I've always been able to at least sympathize with those "deplorables" for the blatant hypocrisy on the left when it comes to all of those social issues that dominate social media these days.
too many people on the left, and on GAF especially, remind me of the conservatives in the years following 9/11 under Bush. Everything was viewed through a polarizing, black and white filter. You are either with us or with the terrorists. You are either a ____ist or you're not.
You can't demonize and shame people and expect they'll agree with you. They'll only dig their heels in further, especially if they feel attacked.
This is some real truth here, folks:
All the people who are very likely or even (ugh) probably going to put Donald fucking Trump in the White House tonight are not voting because they hate women or blacks or mexicans or whoever else. I'm also not saying that the hatred isn't a factor, because it's been shown repeatedly that at least on some level it's an animating force for all of this... but people are complex animals but you've turned them into cartoon villains and stereotypes without every trying to understand them or why they actually feel the way they do.
Polarization is bad. The right has been polarized for a long time, but now the left is too, and it's biting them back hard tonight. If Trump wins and has the House and Senate behind him, this is literally the end of America as we know it and the beginning of a new BRIC nation world alignment. That's really fucking bad.
I mean they still are lol.
I disagree about the US being fundamentally a racist country. Sure there are pockets of the country that are, but the same holds true for any country.
Now, the media got this all wrong, completely off base. Most publications had Hillary winning by a landslide. If the data being presented to the public were more akin to 538 then maybe people would be more galvanized to vote. I, like many other folks, thought this election was in the bag. Boy were we wrong.
Yup. The thread title is ridiculous. Hate trumps love? Don't be fooled. Theres plenty of hate on both sides.
I'm literally laughing out loud to myself as I realize Donald Trump is the leader of the free world.
Time to go to bed.
Republicans and even Donald Drumpf are still human beings. .
PA would put Trump over 270, AP called PA already.This. How about people fucking wait. Half the networks haven't even actually called PA. Not that it necessarily matters...
This is true. Country was essentially split on ideologies. This is what can happen in a nation as diverse as the US.
We are united. For better or, in this case, worse.
Laugh all you want
RELEASE THE FUCKING TAPES YOU PIEE OF SHIT MEDIA
you held back all this shit that would sink trump and now he is president
piece of shit racist fuckbags. fuck you you cunt fucks fuck i hate this fucking country
