Her costume is awesome.
Then the general hype around the character.
Her costume is awesome.
I'm expecting Marvel to be in Kingdom Hearts 3 and for Kingdom Hearts 3 to be awesome.
And yeah, I'm certain that Disney is going to bring their focus around to these things at some point.
Be honest, Marvel would only let them do Peter Parker unless they were going with a Shattered Dimensions or Edge of Time approach.
Sadly her hype only really exists with people like us who read her comics. The general public would be left scratching their heads. Then the general hype around the character.
I've heard the Origins story is significantly better (which wouldn't be hard to do). Haven't played it yet though.

This is sort of what I meant with the Lego and Disney Infinity comment. This seems to be the extent right now.
Was the Deadpool game any good?
Was the Deadpool game any good?
You're right. If devs are using Panzer Dragoon & Iron Man in the same sentence it'd be a disaster.
We already have a baseline game for how to do open world flight mechanics right...the 360 Superman game. Its only cool for a few minutes until u realize how repetitive it is. But, it DOES get one thing right: flight. Thats about the only thing it does right. But I mean it absolutely NAILS that cool feeling of taking off straight up like a rocket, changing course and flying over a city at mach 3, and then landing with a satisfying THWOOMP! in the middle of a bunch of thugs, scattering them, and then proceeding to go to town knocking them around with light poles and punching them thru buildings. The combat stuff is ultra repetitive and, like I said, after 30 minutes i was like, "Is that all there is to it?" But that flight mechanic. Man, is it sweet. If some dev could take that and fine tune it, then u have the basis for a really good Iron Man action adventure or open worldish game.
Was the Deadpool game any good?
Mine too but those games were possibly overrated for what they offered and perhaps the 3rd suffered some burn out. Just saying its not all metacritic. In fact it should never at all by metacritic based
As for Ironman discussion I think that would be much more interesting if NOT openworld. Not every game needs to be and a finely tuned story/missions based one would do that character much better. I mean having Ironman fly around and collect orbs or stop random fights, or whatever just doesn't seem interesting for that character much.
Why Marvel can't get top notch games and movies while DC does is beyond my comprehension.
Are there researchs or general consensus about why this happens? i find it funny

Righto. A contained large location with a hub but a normal mission structure would be great for Ironman but lets be honest everyone out there wants TRUE open world. Even at GDC everyone we talked to mentioned it as a sticking point for games whether talking about Superhero games or otherwise. It was a really buzzkill to hear the difficulties many experienced when talking about the games they wanted to make.If its open world in the empty way you're describing then yeah, of course, it'd suck and wouldn't really be any better than the Superman game I referenced from which to steal the excellent flight mechanic. But, I do think there are ways to do open world right that have nothing to do with collecting orbs or nonsense like that. I'm thinking of an idealized situation where the devs set out to make a "Red Dead" style superhero game with a lot of freedom but also strong storylines. A working economy, an invention mechanic, encounters with various super villains, the occasional helping hand from a friendly Avenger in a cameo, etc.... Doing a fully open world right is probably too ambitious for an Iron Man game though. Something like Arkham City could work though, where its open world but still tightly scripted. I'm with you though...just make a tight flight mechanic with the potential for fights to extend from the sky to the ground and back and now we're talkin. Put that mechanic in an action-adventure game with a reasonably good story and even something smaller in scope (more akin to Asylum) could be awesome.
Outside of the open world web swinging, spider man 2 was not at all a good game.

There already isI would love to see a Captain America game to take inspiration from Arkham Asylum, Wolfenstein and Splinter Cell.
WB owns rocksteady so don't count on a Marvel developed title from them.
But WB's TT Games already makes LEGO Marvel Superheroes and LEGO Avengers games.
Remember this cancelled Marvel Avengers first person game?

The reason I jokingly used Panzer as an example is because I don't recall playing a game with a standing to flight mechanic like you were describing, other than the Lego game which was very awkward despite being pretty basic. Maybe if there were in air multi-directional dodging?
I'll have to check out the Supes game though to see what you are talking about.

Marvel is campier. Their mainstream brand doesn't have the potential that Batman or Watchmen have.

I looooved The Punisher one in arcades.Have people seriously forgotten the Capcom Marvel games. I'm not even talking about the fighters. Hell any Marvel game almost in the 16 bit generation was good. What the hell did DC have then?

I'd replace X-Men with Guardians given the current situation.id be more interested in an arkham quality game of any major marvel hero (spiderman/xmen/ironman etc) than the arkham games tbh, i was never that into dc anyway, even batman.
BUT, arent spiderman games pretty decent since the beenox games took over? didnt play em myself but always heard good things.
