At this point they've "perfected" bringing over their 2D fighters courtesy of Iron Galaxy. Plop the ROM into the shell, redesign the menus and rewrite the achievements and internal challenges an you've got a game. It's like SEGA's backbone games, only actually good renditions.

Powerstone shpuldn't be too hard really, but the online play would require major reworking. Also prople can't decide whether they want 1 or 2. Maybe the Jojo pricing will allow for a twofer package.

At this point Capcom should port over Megaman X PSP as well.

Didnt Powerstone Collection PSP have online play?

EDIT: guess not. Still they should do it and build up to Powerstone 3

So only one person can get that achievement every 2 weeks? What happens if the same kid plays Hybrid all day every day and hogs that spot for the next six months? Just sounds like an all-around bad and pointless idea to me...

Yes, that does sound like an all-around bad idea, luckily that achievement in Hybrid works nothing like what you've described. :)

Every 2 weeks 1 of the 2 factions in the game (Paladin or Variant) will win the season and all the players on that faction (whether actively playing or not) will win that achievement together. So... as long as you're on that faction, you'll win it. Given the number of players on each faction both factions will win some and lose some.

Going Elite 5 times to get that level 50 achievement is an individual thing and doesn't require your faction to win or lose, just to play long enough to do it. You could probably fully Elite in 50 hours without XP boosts. With? Probably half that time.

they already did a collection for that didnt they?, on psp, it sold poorly too

To be fair, fighters generally sell poorly on handhelds because the market wants competitive vs player from real players. Especially now in the online age and you won't get that from a handheld like you would a console.

But porting it to XBLA for $15 wouldn't be a bad idea. But they're not going to make gangbusters either.

I really would love for Dragon's Crown to come out on XBLA, but it seems pretty unlikely. And it certainly won't be Ignition that's doing it.

ignition as publisher for Dragon's Crown, this must be registered before Atlus bought it. this probably won't happen, isn't it going to be a $40 retail game or something?

Kingdom is housemarque's new game, was this known?

S by double fine and THQ, this is probably canned because they are not working together anymore as far as we know.

Aaaaah fuck. Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus, not R.

Aaaaah fuck. Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus, not R.

I'm pulling for this list being outdated. I don't think we're gonna end up seeing Guilty Gear on XBLA this year, so I'm going to be super bummed if I'm waiting for a game that is just then becoming competitively obsolete.

Oh wow, Capsized is still coming to Live Arcade? Thought it had been quietly canned.

Anyway, looks like FO3 is also on sale - showing as 1200msp.

Looking forward to this even more, after the bitter taste THPS HD has left in my mouth.

But I guess that is another week that JSR HD won't release, so the news is bittersweet.

Final Fight Neon? Is that some kind of new Beat em up game that Capcom announced? I could've sworn it was another game that had Neon in the title. ;)

Where's my Mark of the Ninja release date? :(

Fuck that, where's my Retro City and Jet Set release dates? Goddamn it, I'm getting mighty pissed that they haven't been released yet.

:x

will try the trial. Still not convinced with using the analogue stick for pulling off tricks. No way im using the 360 D-pad and i refuse to make any purchases from the PSN anymore.

Any reason in particular?

99% likey my PSN downloads wont carry over to PS4 due to the abandonment of the cell. But we will leave that for another thread.

Huh, there's always the possibility of them being BC via cloud gaming. Saying that, I fully understand not wanting to take the risk. I wouldn't be buying as many LA games if I thought MS were going to abandon BC, but I can't see them doing it due to account migration, etc being a very important part of their online service.

Anyway, you're right, this is a discussion for another thread.
