Like, what?
ads are based on your browsing history, so... y'know...
I don't own a Nissan but I keep getting ads for one, and I don't know what I'm getting insurance portfolio ads for either. Also getting random shit like this ad.The hell they are. I don't look at cars, either. I don't look for insurance.
At any rate, who knows what tags are used for this game?
I get Battle Girl ads, but they aren't lewd ones. Your browsing history must be extra scandalous.

Is this the new third-party Vita exclusive

It would be great if this was actually true, but it's not really how it actually works. Some ads will be targeted to you and based on your browsing history, yeah, but very, very far from all of them.

These are not even the worse kind of anime related ads that show up on this site lol
Those ads are using behavioural targeting
What has OP been looking at?
Mine has the oddest fucking shit:The only things I ever look at on my phone are GAF, World of Warcraft stuff, and the occasional Wikipedia entry. I get all sorts of weird ads while on GAF. My favorite one is (I think) about insurance and has this really creepy old woman doing some odd movement.
Oh yeah, this happens a lot. You can probably get the same ad the OP is getting just by entering a thread where someone said the words "anime" or "moe".I get the impression that GAF itself counts as a trigger for these since it's about gaming and a lot of anime so...
Mine has the oddest fucking shit:
A "getting rid of wrinkles" with a woman using the creepiest fucking facial mask ever.
"This person learned how to speak english in 24 hours" with a random woman using some sort of weird R2D2 hat. I got several of these kind, it's always a woman that learned a language in a extremely fast time, and picture of a woman with some sort of weird contraption or hat in their heads.
I really find that targeted advertising is completely terrible and unreliable, at least for me. The one time they got something right, it was something I had already bought. I bought a phone on banggood, and then proceeded to have ads on GAF for like 3 weeks to buy the same exact phone on the same exact store.

I played the game based off the ads, the game blows.
Well, advertisers usually pay for a certain number of clicks. So the idea is that you should make sure that the people who are more likely to be really interested in the product are the ones getting the ad and clicking on it.How does targeted advertising even work? If I'm an advertiser I'm going to tic every tag on form to get the most exposure. I remember back in the day how people would insert keywords into html for search engines to ping. Any keywords, especially "porn" and "penis."
I was like 'hmm, that's a bit bad, but not the worst browser game ad'. Then I finally noticed the shit in the circle. :lol

Every time we talk about ads people say this, but what's being talked about in the thread seems to be a stronger correlation in my experience. Pizza hut ads in the restaurant thread, "find out who's texting!!!!" ads in the wikileaks online database thread, and so on.ads are based on your browsing history, so... y'know...
I didn't see that until I read this post. Wow. lolI was like 'hmm, that's a bit bad, but not the worst browser game ad'. Then I finally noticed the shit in the circle. :lol
My current ad displays Swiss Chalet and I haven't eaten there in 13 years.ads are based on your browsing history, so... y'know...
