They really are disgusting.

Best you can do is use the "x" on the ad to block and report the ad as being offensive.

It's because advertisers have wised up to the fact that a ton of people have both a) opted out of targeted ads; b) run obfuscation software. So instead of targeting users directly, they now go the indirect route based on the content of the page they're in.

I wish the ad feedback thread had any effect or even some regular communication because the trivago ads that take you to them and pop up your keyboard and pop under uber ads are STILL around.

I made the thread after I checked to see that these particular ads had already been reported and they had, months ago.

I wanted to highlight these by making a thread because they are the most egregious ones I've seen on GAF. I'm tired of seeing them.

Started getting those ads after going into the 'have you ever been bathed?' thread yesterday.

Not worth it. :(

Also really dislike anime, and don't browse porn on my phone.

Why does this ad make the girl look so unhappy. I would at least somewhat understand it if the ad was like "Undress those cartoon girls, they love it" or whatever. But who is looking at this and thinks "Finally a game where I can rape a cartoon character!"

Because anime. Look at those games like Senran Kagura or the DoAx3 VR demo. Otakus love their girls being shy and sad at anything sex related. Pure girls and all of that I guess.

Btw, I hope I don't start getting these ads because I entered here lol

It all originates in some bullshit Japanese cultural depictions of sex (which ironically aren't even traditional, since pre-Meiji sex wasn't seen as shameful and nudity wasn't considered especially titillating).

Thanks OP, been wanting to get more into japanese developed games. Danganronpa didn't hook me, maybe this will.

Edit: Not a good game, can't recommend.

I google searched for an ipod scanner ONCE and all I get is the same ad for ipod scanners forever. Nothing else. Im kinda glad though cuz now i dont get stuff like what op gets lol (never that lewd tho o.o )

Your point? Unfortunately "Anime" tends to get lumped together with lewd stuff all the time.

I would not be surprised if we got ads like these from vistiting/buying from figure sites like amiami or Anime Island or even the more video gamey Play Asia because the ad content assumes anime = hentai/vulgar material even if we weren't looking at ANY the NSFW stuff on any of those sites.
