I wish there would be an open Littlebigplanet beta and open Home beta this week............ we're probably only getting wallpapers and the heavenly sword videos this week.

Thanks for making the topic, tanod. I always wonder how you can motivate yourself to do it when there's nothing good coming out. :lol

Looks as if we're getting another week of nothing.

No need to jump to conclusions, we never know what we're getting this early in the day.

not that I disagree with your faith

Is there any chance at all that the R&C demo is going to hit today? I'd settle for the Stranglehold demo if I'm being honest.

Meanwhile the European PS1 library remains completely unremarkable.

If it weren't for the Insomniac podcast coming out today and giving us a release date for Ratchet & Clank, I'd be a VEEEERY SAD PANDA today. :(

GIVE ME SOMETHING AWESOME! >:|

You're setting yourself up from disapointment. My rationale; nothing is released every Thursday, but then whatever is released is a pleasant surprise and "better than nothing."

Silent Hill, Resi Evil 1, Clocktower, any FF or any half decent PS1 JRPG would more than suffice.

Why don't Sony just DO IT ffs?

Yeah, I'm gearing up for another e-mail to the PlayStation Blog slamming their pitiful handling of the updates.

If they don't have any demos for the week, they should at least dump 4-5 PSOne games on the store.

so we should expect a firmware update next week or the week after?

I'm guessing the Home beta will coincide with it

The next FW should be next Wednesday, the 4th wednesday of the month.

If they're concerned at all about people perceiving they're just dumping a ton of PS1 titles every week (which they've said before), they should just start putting out 3-5 on Monday just like the VC does and have a regular update on Thursdays.

Sony hates money confirmed.

And this type of attitude is why Sony will continue to do shitty updates.
Go fucking bitch at the damn blog, doing it here does nothing.

And the last few updates have been pretty good, dont know what rock you have been living under.

Actually, outside of Warhawk and Dynasty Warriors 6; I have no idea what would qualify as awesome on PS3. :\

Perhaps a sneak attack from the Rumble Roses development team. I'd likely spontaneously erupt in a geyser of goo because of that though. :(

Killzone 2 demo would be nice to see if I can stomach ultra high detailed FPS games with crappy dogbone controls. I enjoyed the presentation and such of the original Killzone, but I f'ing hate dog-boning an FPS.

I do every week. And I do it here because many other folks share my sentiments. Don't like it? Tough shit.

Pretty good relative to the platter of nothing we got for almost all of July but definitely not good enough, especially considering they update the store only once a week as opposed to just putting stuff up whenever it's ready a la Xbox Live (which they need to do). And they still aren't putting the god damned PSOne games on the store.
