those Medieval Madness scores are pissing me off loljvm said:
I can barely get 15 mill. I feel like there is another half of the table I don't know about. There doesn't seem to be anything that could give me that many point. I did unlock freeplay on all table last night but I still can't unlock Jive Time for play.

Try shooting the castle over and over again. If you can destroy 3, maybe 4 castles you'll pass 15 mil. Trap the ball on the left (or right, but left is easier) flipper before each shot.BobTheFork said:

well that's how I got my highscore but I could only kill the catsle maybe 3 times before I died. I'm good at tilting to keep the ball from going down the center lane but missing on those sides of the castle will kill you.Parallax Scroll said:

If you're missing by hitting the yellow drop targets, eventually you'll want to do that, since that's how you light Trolls. :lolBobTheFork said:
But for now, focusing on just hitting the castle: It's a fairly wide target, so if you always make the shot from a ball trapped on the left flipper, it's all about letting the ball roll down to the "sweet spot" before you flip. In this case it's pretty close to the center of the left flipper. Slightly closer to the tip than the base IIRC. If you keep practicing the shot you should be able to find the sweet spot.
I'm just now getting good at setting up (and playing) Catapult/Peasant/Troll/Joust/Damsel multiball madness, then Royal Madness, then repeating. In there somewhere you can get a Castle Multiball, usually. Rinse and repeat.
And, yes, get the castle's taken down. Easy points. Also hurry-up bonuses.

So at this point, I'm fairly certain that Brashnir hasn't actually scored 28 million on Pinbot. I doubt he was intentionaly deceitful, but rather I'm assuming he just pasted in the wrong score by mistake. I haven't seen him post on GAF in a while though, so I haven't been able to get his side of the story.

Ok, I have this on 360, great game, but i can NOT unlock the basic goal harem multiball for SHIT, has ANYONE done this? I'm pretty sure it's glitched as it doesn't register fuck all ever when the harem is lit, do the harem letters of sneak ins stay after you die or do you need it all in one shot?

I haven't played this much myself lately. I did just play a few games of Gorgar. I'd say I'm even better at it than I was before, in terms of ball control, difficult traps, recovering from tricky situations, and accurately hitting the drop targets. But despite that, the best score I got tonight was 2.4 million. Beating my 8.5 is going to be a gargantuan effort.
Anyway, even though I don't have any new scores to post, I'm reposting the lists so I can rightfully claim my Pinbot #1.

I'd really love some DLC--I always wanted to own the table "Police Force" and think it would fit well here. "Bad Cats," "Swords of Fury," and "Black Knight 2000" would be nice as well.
I'm shocked "High Speed" and "High Speed 2: The Getaway" weren't on this compilation. Those are classics.

No new scores to report, but I played a bunch of games of Gorgar, Jive Time, and Sorcerer (yeah, Sorcerer) yesterday. My ball control continues to improve; I'm preventing some outlane drains that I couldn't before. Sometimes I feel like Neo, controlling the ball with my mind. :lol You guys are right, this is a really fun game to get back into after a break.
Gorgar - I've figured out how to deal with some tougher lower playfield situations and can maintain ball control almost at all times. "Phase 1" of my strategy on this table, where I light the left hole for 15K points, has gotten really quick and enjoyable. But the point-farming in "Phase 2" is almost as mind-numbing as ever. I've at least gotten better at dealing with missed shots without accidentally hitting a drop target.
Jive Time - I'm getting a better feel for the table and ball control, and even how to deal with those nasty slingshots, but I am terrible at hitting the West Gate. But I've gotten much better at making use of the Lamp Post - it basically puts the game on easy mode. I had a bunch of 200K+ games yesterday, so I think if I can get a good run going I can beat my current score on this one.
Sorcerer - Is the ball lighter on this table? It picks up speed very quickly. This is a really challenging table for a number of reasons. If you fuck around with the upper playfield you risk sending the ball rocketing towards the drain. Trapping is tough and passing seems to be non-existent. But due to the ball's apparent light weight, nudging is extremely powerful on this table. Multiball is starting to get somewhat manageable and I think will be key to some big scores. Yesterday I had a 4 million point game, then 5M, then 6M, then 7M. It's still a far cry from Gillian's 19M, but I'm gunning for it.

So this game is $19.99 at Wallmart and I've been thinking about picking it up. The thing is though I've sorta never played a good pinball machine, actually I never really played pinball. I have heard about the magic of Black Night and Tales of the Arabian Nights and I sorta want to check it out. Do you think I will enjoy it or just play one round on each table think it's cool but never play it again?
Haven't seen anyone mention this on GAF yet but there's a new Williams pinball game called "Williams Pinball Classics" coming out for the PS3, 360, Wii, and PSP in October.
