Welcome to the BCT. Where everything from Little Caesars to 'what's hot on the streets' is up for debate. First off, we'd just want to thank everyone that has made a contribution to this thread, community, or across the forums in one of the many race-related threads in the past or plans to do so in the future. Its not easy and I know it gets old, but its appreciated and necessary. Next, this isn't a "Blacks Only" spot by any means. Any and all are free to hop in. Consider it open mic. All are welcome to keep it real.

The icebreaker from Honorable Big Brother Himuro is still a great way for new members, lurkers, and juniors to take the first step to contributing to the discussion(s) as a whole.

Let us begin with Naturals Law, ratified by the Black Council in 2011
Natural's Law - is a humorous observation made by GAF poster MWS Natural in 2011 which is becoming an Internet adage. It states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving black people approaches 1. In other words, Natural put forth the hyperbolic observation that, given enough time, in any online discussion regarding any form of conflict someone inevitably criticizes some point made in the discussion by comparing it to discrimination faced by blacks.

Congratulations to the happy couple. I'm sure the reception at the local Ihop will be quite the affair.

The physical form of blasphemy
I hope she straight-up bitch slaps a zombie, because that would just be the greatest

This too. Clementine in the cut, looking mad demonic. Jump out on some 28 Days later type of shit and backhands two zombies.

Might have to put Typing of the Dead: Overkill on a computer at work. Son yall, with subpar typing skills.

So salty, and then treat shitty Singer films like they're classics.

X1 did show Hollywood you could take the source material seriously and make money. But watching it today is a chore. hell I brought it when it first hit dvd and never could finish it. Movie nerds shit on Marvel but they care about and respect the source and it shows in the movies and they are rewarded for it. Fox spent money on shitty cgi for the silver samurai. They put in the bare minimum, and fuck that up..

i respect that if you're a big comic book fan you'll probably enjoy the marvel studios films a lot more. they seem like they adhere to the source material much closer.

i'm just a casual dude though. and i found thor and captain america to be boring as hell. whereas the first two xmen (among a few other comic book films) held my interest much more. and i found them more memorable and better made too.

it's also a major reason why i liked iron man 3 so much. instead of a comic book film by shane black it felt more like a shane black movie that happened to be a comic book film (if that makes any sense)
