So far so good. I'm a Google/Android guy and this my first foray into the Samsung line of products. I'm more than happy with the build quality and performance here in the early going. The screen is great and available real estate is something I'm going to enjoy getting used to moving from a OG Nexus 7. Gmail, Youtube, and my calendar look amazing on such a large screen.

One of my recent pickups, be interesting to see if anyone posts anything older this year ;)

Cosmic Alien, from 1979 - earliest known revision hence all the factory wire modifications.

It's like Galaxian but with better sound (pure analogue, emulation doesn't do it justice) and not quite as good gameplay.

Evenball

Jack Flack always escapes!
Spent WAAAY more than I wanted to this week. I'll be scaling it back next week.

A Big box PC game that is totally mint and sealed. nice.

2 Cheap games. From Russia always looked fun to me though.

2 cheap TV games, nothing all that special.

2 rare NES items. The Maxi 15 includes Chiller and Menace Beach among other unlicensed games.

Here's my video presentation of the lot: Weekend Gaming Pickups 5

Alright!

Just received this huge package my friend in Japan sent me.

- Lots of Konami's CIB I still needed for my collection.
- A couple of Falcom games. (I already had Xanadu and Ys III, so only need the first Dragon Slayer still)
- The Hydlides
- And 2 Enix titles and some other games. Also Metal Gear Special Disc for GameCube.

Although I paid less than what it usually goes for, especially on eBay, Metal Slug X AES is probably the most I've spent on a single game.

Worth it.

Can't believe lousy Smarch is already here! A couple of nice pickups ease the pain...

Gratz. I got the 55" version. TV is jawsome.

I wish they sold the 40" in the US. Id buy it for a 2nd TV in a heartbeat.

*fist bump* It's a stunning set, I'm glad I'm not the only one who owns one on GAF. I'm seriously tempted to go back and play some older games just to experience them again on this beauty.

Haven't posted in a here for a very long time. In any case, most of these purchases were in the past few months!

Games, including a Wii U and PS4

Been trying to read through sci-fi classics (and some recent releases!) that I've missed

Bang & Olufsen H6 headphones (Limited Edition green)

Awesome! Great to see a product here, I have been working on :) Have fun with these.

You worked on this? That's amazing! These are some of the best headphones I've ever put on. They sound like cans worth twice their price. Even without a headphone amp, they sound incredible. I love the design and materials — it's, all-around, a terrific product.

In fact, my fiancée and I have been looking into sound system options for when we get married and (because we want to keep things simple and avoid wiring as much as possible) we're thinking of going with an A9 for the living/dining area and an A8 for the kitchen. These headphones were our first experience with B&O products, and they've opened a new world for us!

That box is HUGE, btw. Also the manuals in those Falcoms boxes are like art books. And that fancy floppy disk container!

I also love the Rune Worth booklet. Yes, that is velvet.

!! So awesome, this is exactly the kind of stuff that I love, especially in that classic fantasy style. The Sorcerian Original win98 scenario booklet has updated versions the monster and item sketches but the msx art is even nicer imo.

Loose Plok and Rom Cassette Disc in Natsume Vol.3 Powered by Taito

This latest "Rom Cassette" volume covers the soundtracks of Pocky & Rocky 1 & 2 and The Ninja Warriors Again for the SFC/SNES

I supposed this is as good a place as any to post my pickups from across the month of February, although slim pickins for purchases. But still.

I got these two gems here, loving both so far. Destined to be two of my 2014 faves!

And my sole digital purchase for the month:

And this little WWE care package I bought myself!

The mailman brought me Tales of Symphonia Chronicles CE and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist The 5th Freedom Edition earlier today.

Can't believe Namco wants £70 and more for that tiny box. (I got in on the £40 Amazon UK deal.)

I also got the Dracula's Tomb Premium Edition of Castlevania Lords of Shadows 2 during the weekend.

The other games are mostly february pickups:
- Need for Speed Most Wanted U, Pikmin 3, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition (Wii U)
- SMT Devil Summoner Soul Hackers (3DS)
- Soul Sacrifice (PSVita)
- Hyper Olympic 1 and 2, Hyper Sports 2, King's Valley, Konami's Football, Time Pilot, Psy-O-Blade and finally Eggerland 2 (MSX)

Eggerland is the game series that most of you will know as Adventures of Lolo. But it actually originated on MSX as the Eggerland series.

This makes me want to build a new rig so bad.

I simply do not need it though...lol. What I have will play games well into the future. Maybe a 2015 or 2016 build.....must resist.
