True, but we don't know how old this video is. For all we know it could be their yearly "This is what we're making" video from 2013 or even 2012.

I just don't believe you on purpose leak something that makes your game look bad, and confuse people on what it's actually called. There's even people in this very thread who are getting confused between the codename and product name. It's not good.

Is omaha a code name for this battlefield 4 mod?

It's because this video is for internal presentation purposes only. It was never ever meant to become a public thing.

This is kind of why developers don't show their games before they're confident in the visuals. They get people saying that it looks terrible. I mean, this video could be... maybe dating back as far as late last year / early this year. So I'm interested to see where the visuals have moved to since this video was made.

BF4 is a train wreck no longer. Plays fine now, on PC anyway.

Can't understand the blame because it looks like BF4. There is a whole new setting, brand new modes and other stuff.

Some similarities should be obvious since it is a battlefield game at all.

The best point is that they try new things with Blood Money, heists and other stuff. Can't wait.

There are literally sounds, animations, and models copy pasted over from Battlefield 4. This is what you get when you annualize a title. This is not good for the franchise or the name.

The singleplayer may very well end up something decent but those multiplayer sections couldn't have looked more generic or boring if they tried.

Day 1 purchase here. The air vehicles seem a little over the top, but I'm intrigued by the car chase angle, that should feel a lot different than standard BF tank combat... hopefully no land mines though. Keep it at spikestrips kthxbai.

To me BF4 looked better graphically, but aside from that, I am really intrigued by what I saw here. Love the premise and gameplay shown/described, certainly very different from past Battlefield or military shooter games. Cops and robbers, bank heists, chases, infiltration etc. Really cool stuff, especially coming off of the back of GTA V, in which I thought the heists were the best part. Anyway, as long as they don't fudge up online reliability with glitches and all the rest, I'm definitely interested in this.

This is probably the footage they showed off to journalists 2 months ago.
This wasn't intended for normal people.
There are missing objects, missing effects, missing animations, missing lighting, missing AA etc.
Its an early stage, but it gives you a slight idea of what that game is going to look like when its done. And I'd say its going to look pretty amazing.

I can tell this is gonna be a clusterfuck when given to actual players, though I think they could pull it off if they straight up ripped Counter-Strike's round/economy structure.

If this is free spawning, then I'm 90% sure it will just be battlefield chaos in a different setting.
