As I see, the maps are really small... It would be cool if the maps were huge, maybe like gta V go Watch Dogs, so there would be a real car chase after robbing a bank.

I promised myself after 4 I wouldn't do this to myself again...but I actually am kinda interested in this. The multiplayer modes especially look interesting

Wow do they always give out better internal trailers than they do external?

Informative, cut great, gameplay for SP & MP. Why don't we always get stuff like that?

They want to trickle the information out over a longer period of time so that the "hype" is constantly present up until release.

Because many people would bitch about the graphics, since its in an unpolished, early, unfinished stage.

IDK...looks OK. But I cant stomach buying another BF after how long they've taken to fix BF4. I'll probably wait a few months to see how its running before deciding this time.

Which is what people are already saying now even if some of them know this isn't what the final visuals will look like.

And some people are wondering why betas, alphas, and other stuff aren't shared. Most people are quick to judge, and it severely damages products.

This looks good. I enjoyed the Payday games a lot, and it's nice too see them doing something a little different with the BF franchise. I skipped BF4 because I didn't think much of BF3, but I'm definitely interested in this.

But now you can fly a jet as a cop!

I don't know why you'd think this is BF4 with a new coat of paint. A new, decent, large scale MP sounds much more like a new Battlefield game to me. This seems different enough.
The problem is that it looks too much like Battlefield thanks to the engine and the recycling of weapon models.

It's not only that it looks like BF but the gunplay is the same and that becomes stale rather quickly. I want to see a change similar to that of BC2 -> BF3 and have it feel like a new game.

After 4 i won't be there day 1. So i will wait for some impressions before deciding to buy or not. Looks more of the same which is okay in battlefield.

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
Why the name Battlefield?

I will pass this game, BF is cash cow now....

You just answered your own question.

Anyway, i love that they toned down the lens flare effect.

Single player looks more interesting than multiplayer?

I'm sorry but looking at this it just feels as if payday did it first and did it better. Not quite feeling it.

Am I imagining stuff or did that look worse than BF4

Got that impression also.

Well I wonder if that's the footage we were supposed to see on june 9 at E3... The SP looks really interesting.

Overall the game seems like it could be quite good.

Yeah, man, playing as cops rappelling off a helicopter a friend is flying to the roof of a bank while other cops zip line across was cool as hell in Payday.

Thank you OP for providing us a link to watch this, just watched it myself.

I'm not going to judge graphics or animation because this may be a old video. As for the setting itself I find it interesting and I can see great fun with a good organized team or just with a couple of friend having fun.

On the other hand, as a consumer I'm very cautious about any entry in the Battlefield series. I bought the Limited Edition of BF3 on the PS3 back in the day on the release day. Later on I also got it on PC but when BF4 was released I couldn't simply support with my money a game that was simply not ready to be released for sale and for the consumers.I skipped it and I still haven't played or bought it from the principle as a consumer so the least I can do with this one is wait, avoid the day one purchase and see if EA learned or not.

Either way I can't wait and I hope it's a good game, I'm just an aware consumer at this point (something we all should be).

Looks horrible. And after the mess that was battlefield 4 on ps4, it would take something really, really compelling to get me to buy another battlefield game. And this isn't it.

Not by a long shot.

Dear god, no. This footage was never meant for public consumption. It's clearly some kind of internal briefing video for people in the company, retail and platform partners, and possibly the press. Whatever they show at E3 will look better, feature licenced music and have a lot more focused editing.

GTA Online can hang it up. They lost their main mode for GTA O. Though they still banked massively off of it haha.

? There's more to GTA:Online than just heists.

Also this looks a lot more chaotic than what the proposed heist mode in GTA looked like that + GTA has a huge map to outrun the cops. The maps in this look big but I highly doubt as big as GTAV.

but cool on parts of "Miniguns" from the Dredd OST being used.

Maps with new character Models and Gamemodes justify a DLC or expansion but no whole new game. The game just looks exactly like BF4 (graphically, the recycled assets and the gungame)

.

It's the only part I'm even remotely interested in, because I love Visceral and I love Deadspace. But BF4 has left such a sour taste in my mouth that just watching that clip has turned me off to the whole thing.

I wonder if this is the actual Visceral that made Dead Space, or one is it one of those "let's name this other studio 'Visceral North' or something so we get the name recognition!" situations.
