Dragon Age: Inquisition has gone gold

I will probably go Qunari Male Warrior. I like the characters who become hard as nails, although I am envious of the mages destructive strength. Will play a hybrid if possible.

Why is this not on Steam yet?

Because EA is publishing it.

Don't know how I'm going to get Cassandra to fall in love with a Qunari mage, but damned if it's not going to happen.

Actually I don't know. In the past I almost feel like I base a character's personality around impressing another NPC, when really I should just form them in a vacuum and if anyone still wants to jump their bones, then so be it. Might end up that the only NPC that's into him is Dorian or Iron Bull. If so, then so be it.

Almost Game of the Year time. Some of the ones I know I'm going to lobby for are Shovel Knight, Mordor, [Embargoed]. What else?

My second playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition has seen me restart my character three times. So conflicted who to spend 100 hours with.

:D

So glade that the embargo is up in a few days. I don't think I can handle these tweets for much longer.

Okay. I doubt they will be in 1080p though. I'm sure the PS3 version will have some tearing as well and blander textures.

I don't know who is going to buy those anyway. You can get a PC for peanuts that will run better, probably even scrap one in the junk yard. Hell, il give you one if you pay for the delivery Q9950, 6870HD.(With a 24 inch 1080p screen)

If you buy retail then install from disc after putting CD-Key into Origin, faster than downloading that 20 GB.

Apparently 40+ GB on current-gen consoles, but according PC system requirements you will need 26 GB for PC install.

Edit: On PC recommendation HDD space if often few GB more than it actually needs.

I have been trying to clear space on my SSD for a 40 GB install, glad to see its not quite that high.

I'd love to know what the specifics of the specializations are such as Rift Mage and Artificer. The active and passive abilities would be great.

Hopefully we get that info this week. Knight Enchanter is the only specialization that I know everything about.

So... why they haven't released some kind talent / build calculator? I have watched videos and dug up some screenshots, but would be nice to get official talent calculator for all possible classes and sub-classes.

Dawg, deliver us detailed screenshots of skills and descriptions when embargo lifts? ;)

Edit: Why? you may ask. Well because I don't want roll character just so I get to see what classes and sub-classes actually have to offer and then re-roll into what I want.

So this games story links more directly to DA2, correct? Anyone think it's worth going back to that game before Inquisition? I know the game is supposedly shit but maybe I can get it for like 10 bucks.

Definitely if you can get it cheap. It's not shit but it's no Origins. It's also short if you just do the story content, 20-25 hours.

I'm dead set on getting this, hoping for a Black Friday sale, but if not I'll still buy it (as long as reviews arent terrible, which I'm not expecting surely at this point).

It's getting kind of ridiculous with the embargo. People are like "I can't say anything about it but there is this embargoed game that'll be important in the GotY discussions, I wonder which game it could be." Not that I'm complaining. It's awesome to hear that it's good.

My not yet existing Inquisitor Shallan Davar will soon get the opportunity to stab some dudes and monsters in the back. There'll be so much backstabbing.

Sorry for asking this here but any tips before starting DA2? I'm going in blind atm. Hope I can get through it before Inquisition launches!

If your playing on normal then there's not much to say since it's not very difficult. Just be careful with the positioning of your party since enemies will just spawn in out of nowhere, even behind you and they can kill you mages or archers fairly quickly. It's bullshit.
