Aside of that one thing, I'm just as clueless as you guys. Have no clue as to what will happen after this announcement but I will say it's big and I'm not shitting you. I've been on GAF for almost a year and a half and I know how you guys work lol. I wouldn't lie to you guys about this! I have been a victim to someone falsely talking about something and not having a single clue about what it is, and then when the event comes he says he was just fucking with us. It sucks. I know. Alright, I'll give you guys that it's not like it always crashes, and that people will be disappointed by anticipation due to differing expectations.

Still, I wasn't expecting much at all from this event, but now it seems like it's about to be hyped from a whole bunch of angles straight into oblivion.

I actually have heard a few things, just because I talk to a lot (a fucking lot) of people in the industry, and the truth is it's going to be a very interesting show and it's OK to get hyped, but the focus is very much on celebrating the anniversary of PlayStation in its 20th year. We'll be getting a nice glimpse into what is to come in store, and at least three very cool announcements I know of. But what is cool or not is so subjective it's ridiculous to even begin to say how that applies to others.

For example, I love indies so much. Three cool indie announcements would make the show for me.

Ehhh, I don't think so. It seems expected for Sony to acquire RAD and Quantum Dream at some point, unless it's something out of left field like Capcom there won't be any surprises in that field.

EDIT: Just a guess - Smells like Dragon's Dogma 2 published by Sony developed by Capcom.

Dragon's Dogma was amazing but in a sequel I want them to have far less lantern oil around so that going out at night becomes an exercise in horror genre gameplay. Because very early on in DD before I had myself really attuned to the way the game worked I had gone out without much lantern oil and then it got all dark when I was in the Witch's Wood.

And it was seriously one of the most oppressive and tense moments of gameplay I've ever experienced. I was actually sweating a little bit it was so unexpected. I knew shit got dark, but I didn't realize it got THAT dark. I was like "oh my god what do I do, how do I get out of these woods"
