Yeah, I'll probably give the series a shot if the Marvel stuff is implemented well. I've been thinking about playing it for a while, but I don't really play my PS3 anymore. Wish we'd get a Vita port.

I really don't want any repeat Disney worlds, even though I know there's bound to be some. But Kingdom Hearts should be as open minded as possible to all potential worlds, and I just know if they did Marvel or Star Wars, they'd at least look spectacular.

Also can we control party members now? I only play the first game a bit game back in the day, and you could only control the main character.

While adding Star Wars would be amazing, it would also be kind of redundant. In Birth by Sleep, Terra's story is basically Anakin Skywalker's story (but with better acting and action).

Still, Darth Vader as a superboss... oh man.

I think they'll save Star Wars for later (KH4?) since the movie won't come out until next year.

Frozen is a safe bet and one of Thor/Iron Man would make sense.

It wouldn't feel like a Disney and Final Fantasy crossover anymore if they added Star Wars and Marvel. Even though they're Disney properties, they still feel like their own separate thing and don't really have that Disney lore that makes Kingdom Hearts work. Having a bunch of Marvel, Star Wars, Final Fantasy and Disney characters walking over the place will feel like a giant cluster fuck.

I will be very happy if this happens. I loved the Tron and the Pirates worlds as well, so why not.

Some that I want:
-Asgard
-Knowhere (Guardians)
-Endor
-Tatooine
-An epic dog fight with gummi ship set around the Death Star (this time with decent gameplay).

Edit: they can use the animated universes or comic appearances to make stuff blend in better for those saying it would not fit. Alltough some realistic stuff worked in 2.

I also want Nicolas Cage in a National Treasure world.

Let's pray the series doesn't reach Disney Infinity levels of desperation. They have so many actual Disney worlds left unexplored that it would be an insult to Walt if they did that.

Sounds hyperbolic but I probably won't pick this up if there's Star Wars or Marvel.

KH's themes are very child-like and simple which is why Disney works so well with it as they share the same values. Marvel and Disney would be a mess.

Sorry, including Marvel and Star Wars would ruin the series for me. KH has always featured Disney CREATED characters, not ones they bought. Star Wars and Marvel would just be out of place for me. There's plenty of new worlds they can put in like Frozen, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph. Hell, I'd love to see a Phineas and Ferb or Gravity Falls world.

A lot of Disney characters are from old fairy tales and were bought so....

Skullgirls team talked to Disney about making a game for them based on the Disney Afternoon several years, and were told that Disney wanted nothing to do with their old TV shows. The new comics and Ducktales game since were experiments that we were lucky to get, and unfortunately, I don't think they sold as well as hoped.

Although I guess there is a live action Rescue Rangers movie coming...

Yes but they created their own versions of those characters. And if you've actually read those old fairy tales and stories, you'd know the Disney versions vary greatly.

Would be awesome and would probably end up working out pretty well as kingdom hearts pretty much allows you to put any world into it the way it's travel system is set up.

I'm all for a marvel world and a Star Wars world. It's not like they've been super great about exploring Disney worlds. We've seen the same ones over and over.

Star Wars stuff would be beyond amazing. But don't forget Tangled, guys. If there's no Tangled world I'm boycotting Disney.

There's nothing to consider, if you can do a Star Wars world, you have to do it. True to a lesser extent for the Marvel stuff. Unless you are using that to sell the sequel after this one.

Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc. And their versions of Peter Pan, Aladdin, Little Mermaid etc, are their IPs that they created. Darth Vader was created by George Lucas and Iron Man was created by Stan Lee. Its not the same.
