Obviously a great conference, but needing TLG and Fallout 4 bombs being the only thing to impress most people is a given, lots of indies games I was eying on other systems coming was fantastic news, especially Shovel Knight, and UC4 looked amazing, especially gameplay wise.

2: Fuck you Square-Enix for completely draining the sauce of my body by putting three images of FFVII and then feeding us more bullshit instead of giving us what we want
3: Fuck you Konami for working "so hard" on giving us Suikoden on Vita instead of doing something people could actually play
4: Fuck you Atlus for managing to only redo a title (Persona 5) since the 'reveal' of the game

and last but definitely not least:

5: Fuck you GAF for hyping me up so much for this fucking piece of shit event. 0/10 Worse than PS3 E3 2006

Blame yourself for getting over hyped in the first place. PSX for me was 7 or 8/10, I haven't got a PC so I haven't played many of the games shown.

You got lots of games. Generally well crafted conference aimed at the people who actually watch these things. Not something tailored towards shareholders or the press either.

Sure the ending needed a bang. But the idea of this conference, the way it was carried out and some of the things they showed has made it BETTER than E3.
I am looking forward to the next PSX more than I am any other conference out there.



Square Enix should be legit BANNED from all Sony conferences from now on though.

Pure Speculation here, but Maybe Sony helps with Manpower and a little bit of Tech.
I hope I remember correctly, that the Pantha Rey Engine had a lot of help from Sony. Maybe it is a thank you from Capcom, so they can get the game out quicker.

Second speculation. The Fighting community is a very intense one, but I don't think too big, when you look at hardcore players. By dividing that Community it gets even smaller and the purpose of fighting and to mess each other in a Game gets lost. We know from a lot of devs that Mircosoft is very restrictive, when it comes to crossplatfrom gaming. Eventually Capcom and Sony don't want to split the Com and allow PC / Ps4 crossplat gaming, where Microsoft didn't. To not split the Community and have a common ground Cap decided to go exclusiv ?

I'm not saying I'm totally let down - the whole Vita section was fucking amazing - but Uncharted 4 demo was basically a given and Street Fighter was huge (but ruined).

Yakuza though. I was expecting a hell of a lot more than a PS3 port.

That, and the massive cocktease that was FF7. Really soured it.

This has been two hours of Sony saying "We love games, you can play this stuff on our platform, please use our platform because we love games".
