I would've beleived it a bit if this direct wasn't world wide so I find this leak a bit weak.

I nearly believed in this, but then I ran a character counter and turns out it's way over the 140 character limit with 237 so hah, joke's on you!
We had a thread hyping this direct 2 weeks before it was oficialy announced.
It is never too late or too soon
so, let me get this straight, the guy who leaked this said he got the entire directs worth of information while he delivered his segment to his boss who was splicing it all together, and only the bosses are allowed to see what are in the directs so that they can avoid leaks.. and yet this boss let this regular employee stay in his office long enough while he edited the entire thing for the employee to see all the news that he then leaked to the internet?

Well, almost certainly it's in the works, so all we need it patience. Now if anything will be announced, shown or mentioned in this direct is another thing.
So either this is confirming the date, or you know a different date? New3ds January launch would be awesome!

They won't give statements like that on games that aren't coming out. I don't know if we'll see Metroid on 3DS or Wii U but it's most certainly happening sooner rather than later.

To be fair he didn't explicitly state that it's not coming, just that they didn't include it cause of how many people would ignore it. Not saying we're getting it but at no point did he state we wouldn't see it again.

How much do you guys wanna bet Nintendo reveals the New 3DS like a surprising new object that will blow out minds as if it did not already exist and was released in other countries for months? I hope they at lease acknowledge that its been out elsewhere for months and don't waste our time hyping up the thing..
It was somewhat confirmed that we should get Animal Crossing news this year.

i cannot remember but I thought it was something like 200 for xl and 160 for the regular.

The positivity is always counter-balanced by the crushing negativity after the direct, when people realize their expectations were too high. I'm pretty sure people were upset after last year's January's direct(that one had lots of announcements).
