That means probably not WFT or Villager. Villager will probably just get another figure if a new AC game comes out.

So at the moment Amazon UK have Wii Fit Trainer in stock for £19. I've been tirelessly searching for her but refraining from Amazon and the sheer wankery that is eBay. I've been trying to buy every single Amiibo at retail price (£10) as a mission of mine. Should I cave in and get these Wii Fit Trainers on Amazon?

Does anyone remember how long it was between Wave 3 being revealed, and being available for pre-order? I'm fairly sure there was some period of time in between there, because I remember people being unsure if there would be retailer exclusives at all -- and, later, not knowing which would be exclusive and to where.
It would be nice if Nintendo just said "they'll be available for pre-order on X date".
People seem to be expecting/hoping for them to pop up at any second, but for all we know it could be days or weeks from now.
I also swore to never pay a cent over retail price, but I ended up ordering an import Little Mac and WFT from Japan through amazon for $23 each. A little bummed, but I honestly don't mind the extra 10 bucks considering shipping and (more importantly) just being done with it. I had been refreshing various sites all over the 'net for hours a day looking for them...paying a little more gave me some free time and sanity back. Worth it IMO.

I was the same as you, didn't want to pay more than the standard price but managed to snag a WFT on Amazon UK for £14 a couple days ago, just pure luck with timing. If you're tired of checking the page and just want the amiibo already then I'd say go for it

It's kinda sad that due to the rarity of these things we're sort of glued to our computers/phones to make sure we get these.
Although if we had concrete date and times then we might have even less of a shot with site traffic and issues. lol
Yes I know. And I'm not even collecting for like money or rarity. I just like them and want to display them. I wish these were easier to get.

The Mario Party amiibos look nice. I'm glad I skipped on the Smash versions of most of those characters (I only have Peach so far).
I refuse to buy the Robin amiibo because it is a BIG FAT LIE. Robin will always be female in my heart.
With that said I would pay serious money for a well done mod that makes the figure female.

I'm glad you posted that as it's kind of refreshing that I'm not the only one who does this...
...in a sad kind of way.
The hunt for male/female Robin would be insane though.
I love the amiibos cause they're really cool, but I'm definitely not cut out for this kind of thing just cause of work and life and stuff. I wish I could just casually buy one, even just like a month after they release without the worry that I won't be able to get one
Hopefully just from the first 3 waves they'll expand their stock more for these next waves

Whilst I prefer Male Robin it is crummy that Male WFT and Female Robin seem to be nowhere. Unless once the Smash roster is complete there are special edition "Alternate" amiibo. Male WFT, Female Robin, Alph and the Koopalings.
Showing only store pick up for me. I really wish BB would change their system so that it's obvious when something is not available online.

When I hit select store it has pretty much every local one as options with "3-5 days" expected.
Nope! Import to your heart's content. Only the package changes.
It showed me that, too, so I was going to order for in store pick up (since it says 3-5 days) but it let me get it shipped when I actually checked out.
