There's no Capcom characters in this comic.yeah but where's megaman?
It actually resembles (U)MvC3 Spidey, with the sharp bottom of the eyes & the red costume instead of orange.I wish the design was like the actually MvC one. They put little effort in that panel.
And gets perfected, clearly bottom tier.
Poor Spidey, it's insane that they are literally including every Spiderman and killing most of them.
You could make one, & Capcom did make a few as a prize for the Original MvC3 (they contained consoles inside). There were MvC3 arcade machines?
Morlun Igniz-tier tbh

They both want to, money is the problem. Capcom can't afford the licensing costs right now, hence why they had to let the contracts for the previous MvC games lapse & be removed from online stores. If their next few games Capcom has in the pipeline (SF5, MH4U, RE Revelations 2, etc.) make a good profit, then maybe we'll see MvC4 sooner rather than later. We're basically waiting for Capcom to get their financial shit together. I actually did a whole thread on the situation.Yeah, sounds lame as fuck.
Anyway, they should let Capcom make another game.
Twinkie-Spidey we hardly knew yePoor Spidey, it's insane that they are literally including every Spiderman and killing most of them.

At best, don't expect MvC4 to happen until around Avengers: Infinity War (Part 2). This was just a nice nod to the MvC series, probably to show that Marvel does care about the MvC series & that they respect it.

That's probably the most likely scenario that could accelerate MvC4's creation. Though the part about Adam Boyes being a former Capcom USA employee and the fact that he & John Vignocchi are besties is news to me (but doesn't John cover Disney Infinity rather than Disney gaming as a whole)?Given that Adam Boyes (Sony Computer Entertainment America, formerly of Capcom USA) and John Vignocchi (Disney Interactive) are such good pals, I wouldn't be surprised if MvC4 was a PS4 exclusive, just like SFV, with Sony chipping in on dev costs.
Either that or, yeah, Capcom gets paid.
The video in question is in my other MvC thread from a while back. I linked it here already.Boy what a way to show respect. To be fair this isn't the first time they've recently referenced it, they did a MvC skit on that Ultimate Spider-Man show assist characters and all.

Marvel needs the exposure so I don't think exclusivity is the best way for the brand.
Marvel doesn't need exposure, anything Marvel Studios (they make anything in the MCU) put out in theaters is basically the license to print money. Capcom is currently in no position to afford another contract with Marvel (that could change later if their upcoming games do well, but I'm talking about this exact moment). Sony footing the bill may be the only way that MvC4 could happen right now unless Capcom does get their financial shit together.Marvel needs the exposure so I don't think exclusivity is the best way for the brand.

Morlun too OP. He will have none of this Chip Damage nonsense. How did he get perfect? There should be chip damage from the maximum spider!
Why can't this series have more awesome moments like this?
That background's making me think it's Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter.
I love the nod to MvC here, even if it looks like he's just another casualty. Maybe it's a new universe despite clearly being based on the fighting games on the off-chance MvC happens again? Either way, I'm happy to see all these Spider-Men, but I'm getting tired of them all dying. I mean, I know it's a cop-out, but I wouldn't mind something bringing them all back at the end.
Seriously, man. I fear for 60's Spider-Man's life like he was my own Spider-Child.
Capcom won't be able to use Spider-Man in next gen MvC4 10 years from now because of this obscure ass comic panel.
Honestly though, it will probably just be a random win quote from Spider-Man as a wink and nothing more, Slott is just trolling y'all hard.
laughed my ass off at this, but it's not the best part of the issue. the part at the end with the two spideys changing their web cartridges and making small talk ("I saw one guy with his mask off. I swear to god he looks like the guy from Seabiscuit") was just killer
Marvel: "Hey everybody, here's a silly crossover where people can see all the different Spider-Mans!"Poor Spidey, it's insane that they are literally including every Spiderman and killing most of them.
I mean, I know that this won't stop MvC4, but Neoxon asked about the universe not being the right number for the MvC Earth, and I was spitballing an idea. I'm honestly concerned that they may kill 60's Spider-Man, though.
I like how they explicitly stated the 7-some Spider-Men they couldn't use, but that exchange got 4 of them into the story, anyway. Like, even the Electric Company Spider-Man's there, even if he's off-panel!
The story with the two spider-men shooting the shit made me sad because it reminded me that slott could actually write. Both of those Peters acted more like Peter than 616 has in months.
Spider-punk is pretty amazing. I want a skin of him in all possible games.
Isn't this from Gerard Way's run?
Nah, they won't do that. They have to leave at least ONE animated spider man alive.
I thought they were implying that one of them WAS 616 peter, and the other was identical in every single way *except one.*
hit me right in the feels when I noticed it.
and yeah, spider punk is now the bestspider man by a good country mile. they can kill off that other dudeblack
