To be fair, it doesn't matter who it is..... GAF will call the person pretty and hipster if it isn't the EXACT person they would have chosen.

Pretty much. Anywho only negative is that i guess he'd be done with Teen Wolf if he gets this part. Show will not live without him there.

I'd like glue Dylan to be Pete but maze runner ids getting sequels... plus teen wolf... I don't see him giving up two steady jobs if offered the role

Well, he can't give up Maze Runner. Contractually obligated. It's like how Hunger Games couldn't take Jennifer Lawrence away from X-Men.

But he'd drop his little MTV show for fucking Marvel, I'd think.

Teen Wolf would honestly get the boot then. Having two movie parts that will both be successful would just push him into the limelight. I'd HATE for him to leave Teen Wolf tho without a proper goodbye.

Eh. Imo Dylan does drama better as well.

Well i havent seen Dylan O'Brien that much. (Only The Internship and Maze Runner as well as 2 Episodes of Teen Wolf)

But what i saw from Logan in 3:10 to Yuma and The Perks of Being a Wallflower was good enough for me to say that he is better in the Drama section than Dylan.

Here it comes. Another hipster pretty boy

They learned nothing from the garfield fiasco

Yes, yes, let's hire Adam Driver or Michael Cera just to be different. Oh wait, that's actually what being hipster is about: tying so hard to be original/different when there's no need for it.

If I'm paying good money to see a film, then I better see some good-looking motherfucker. If I want to see plain joe, I can see it every fucking day. Also, Peter is a guy who managed to attract a model to go on a date with him. You seriously think that calls for plain joe?

Agreed

You, me and raimi

We are lolling cause this is looking totally not good

To hell with it all, Tobey will always be the only spidey

I feel like at this point Spiderman is like Doctor Who.

Tobey will always be my Spidey.

I really liked Garfield, but when I think Spiderman I think Tobey.

If we don't get Black Panther in the Avengers, we sure as hell better get Morales.
You'll get black panther, relax
If you get Miles Morales it's not going to be for years now, hopefully by then the people at marvel start introducing new popular ethnic super heroes instead of turning our pre-existing heroes into them just to satisfy a certain audience. That is totally the wrong approach.

Yup. Dylan or Logan would be the exact opposite of hipster choices.

I totally disagree. I wouldn't pick Adam Driver or Michael Cera myself but having someone super attractive goes against the essence of the spiderman character. He's suppose to be joe everyman, somebody repeatable thrust into world of superhero's.

So you never want to see people who could pass for average joes playing average joes in a movie? You never want variation in looks and appearances in fiction? Says a lot about your taste.

If the role calls for it then by any means. But this is clearly not the case. What can I say? I'm just not hypocritical enough to deny I like good-looking people.

How about someone who looks like Peter Parker?

....but no. I am sorry. I forget.... that is an unreasonable request and means I have bad taste.

Wait a second. Peter's been super attractive for forever now in the comics. The dude married a super-model for crying out loud.

I always considered Peter to be somewhat attractive if MJ was chasing him around.

Peter is pretty good looking. Dylan O'Brien would be a good fit.

Funny. I don't know about Logan, but Dylan's progression in Teen Wolf has been monumental. Which can be highly amusing, given that the rest of the cast largely remains as shitty as ever.

He would definitely dump Teen Wolf if there were any conflicts.

Well, Stiles lives in Murdertown, CA, after all.

The guy has always been a good-looking man, but he has self-esteem issues up the wazoo. No one has to be average-looking to have problems believing in themselves.

Hell, Pete has a list of ladies who have a thing for him as big as Batman's rogues gallery. Ladies love that guy.

Seriously, Peter has always been good looking and a genius. What's supposed to be "everyman" about him is his social and financial situation.

No everyman is going to be macking as many ladies as Peter Parker.

What is this nonsense?

Oh, my fault for stumbling into a comic book movie thread.

What is this nonsense

It's my preference on how I spend my money. Deal with it. :)

It also amazes me how people just ignore the comics and imagine Peter Parker how they want it to be. Newsflash: he's only a geek when he was in high school. He grew up to be a rather hot guy over the course of the story. Hot enough, like others have said, that he attracts super model like Mary Jane Watson.

Oh, my fault for stumbling into a comic book movie thread.

May I suggest visiting the nearest optometrist? Stumble into. lol

Well chicks dig his sense of humor and his selflessness. Silver Sable doesn't know what he looks like, but she loves that boy to death.

The only reason he's poor is because of plot induced stupidity. Many characters in the comics have pointed out that he easily should to be filthy rich.

His poverty is almost a running joke at this point.

I'm more interested in how Spiderman is introduced into the MCU, given that there was no trace of him thus far, particularly during the attack on New York. Could they use some interdimensional shenanigans?
