*crosses off on PS4 to buy list*

This pleases me.

What is the deal wih games that don't let you turn off music or sound.

Just bought Luftrausers, it has no menu, no way to take it out of fullscreen, no way to turn off sound or music, hell no way to exit the game without minimizing and closing from toolbar! Its like they are trolling us.

Reading the thread for the new Firewatch footage is painful.

Fudging port-begging everywhere, but since it's not PC gamers 'begging' for it to come to PC, noone's getting banned.

Eh, four pages and maybe one person per page asking for other versions is tame. While you'd get piled on doing the same in a console-exclusive thread bans only happen if it completely derails the discussion.

Press 'O' while on the title screen, says so on the lower right. 'Start' works too. And ESC for exit. Though I don't know why you would want to do any of those things. Including closing the game.

There is no title screen I boot it up and press nothing, it has a 5 second intro with faces and then goes to the boat where you can start flying where O doesn't work.

Humm whats a good not to stressful game to play in very short bursts?

Crimzon Clover
kek kek kek
Crimzon Clover actually isn't a terrible choice if you're into shmups and just want to play a credit or two on Novice difficulty.

Beat Hazard Ultra might also fit the bill. It's a twin-stick shooter that generates stages based on your music library, which means you can make it as short and relaxing as you please.

Try pressing down on the D-Pad at the boat screen, if I remember correctly. Then you can go left/right between screens, like one that lets you switch out plane parts after unlocking them. I think the options are either down there or you press O from those screens?

The boar is the title screen. But maybe you're still in the tutorial or something.

Alright thanks for the help I will keep trying

No one is stopping anyone from making one.

We're just too lazy.

How about you?

Pls.

I feel like we don't really need a monthly thread as badly anymore. Now that thread activity has lowered, we're still good to go til the usual page limit switchover. The monthly bit feels like a bit of a leftover from days past when we meant something to Gaming Side. Before the dark ages. We should keep doing them, but it isn't as priority as it once was.

How good and/or relevant are the two dlc chapters for Alan Wake?

I never got around to playing them, and I just realized how much HDD space AW is taking up.

The Writer is pretty damn great, I've heard mixed reports about The Signal and I managed to skip it the last time I played, completely by accident.

Thanks. Do I get to play The Signal from the main menu or do I have to find it during gameplay or unlock it by beating the game? I played originally on 360.

Man, I watched some Revelations 2 gameplay, not for me, though I understand people who really enjoy it. Any future Resident Evil spin-off should be a new REmake style game, just as an experiment by Capcom to see how it does in this day and age (make it low budget if they need to). I've got no problems with the mainline games being improved versions of RE6 if they did that.

I want to see a full Zombie-Crimson Head-Licker transformation happen in a claustrophobic place full of backtracking and puzzles. Having actual animations of CH corpses mutate into a freakish Licker would be awesome.

Umm, I entered for Master Reboot but won Depths of Peril (I already own it :\)

Edit: Oh, three of these are the same entry code, lol

So it's play one and ignore the other.

Basically, yeah. Honestly I've gotten so spoiled by the ease of installing and removing games using Steam that anything else seems a hassle. Every once in a while I'll play through something somewhere else (Amalur on Origin, Blood Dragon on uPlay), but as often as not I just tend to forget the other stuff is even there.

That said, if I still did gaming on a laptop I'd probably play older GoG games a lot more often. To be honest most of the stuff I have on GoG was either free, or I got as much for nostalgia's sake as with the intent of really playing it again. The biggest exception is The Witcher 2, which I honestly regret not just buying on Steam (which is where I have The Witcher 3 pre-ordered).

Uh, since I don't know where else to ask, I don't suppose anyone has a Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds save with Cocoa unlocked, do they? I wanted to a do a video of the game but I don't really want to grind to unlock her again right now (already beat the game on Vita.) PM if you can help

edit: Got help, I think. If I actually found the right save folder...dernit, PC devs...

Anyone know how many Steam users there are? I know it was just posted the other day but I can only find the old number of 75 million.
