yeah in one of the only reviews we got it was confirmed that it is a feature you can do it once a quest is done if you get bored

has it been 100% confirmed that every single human is a robot being controlled remotely, or is it just that you specifically are a robot? Some of the short stories on the website seem to sort of contradict this in some ways.

Why is this game called Xenoblade if there isn't a Monado in the setting?
Its on the name, could be that its a sequel/prequel but its still weird.

I cant understand japanese and what I have heard about it was from gamefaqs, but

You can see that after they explode the Life, the humans(robots) fell to the ground on the next scene. So at least a huge part is robot.
And if you mean Lyn and all the food stuff, just because they are robots, it doesnt mean they dont "eat" or are invincible. See GitS for an example. I kinda puts a new light to Lyn's quest to find synthesized "meat".

I think the majority are robots if not all of them.

I would be shocked if there wasn't a dedicated spoiler thread for the game that goes up around the same time. It's especially vital now with the western release not coming until later this summer at the absolute earliest.

I could make it, but dunno if it's time to make one yet. Most people havent even got the game, if you dont live on China. And they are serious spoilers :p

But
the part with the humans on the ground is from this portion of the treehouse stream. Seems like they were killed by some Prone soldiers, not Life related. And I guess you could be right about the food stuff, perhaps they have some simulation of their human senses like taste and breathing. I remember in the B.L.A.D.E. story though, after the crash Nagi says "So...we can breathe the air" and Van Damme says “That’s not all. The temperature’s around 20C, the gravity is 0.94G, and radiation levels are safe...it’s habitable, without any kind of protection.” But if that whole avatar-like story is true for everyone in NLA, I mean, that's kinda fucking scary! Knowing that you are here and your body is somewhere else completely unprotected just waiting for a squid lady to destroy it.

I'm punching my dick for clicking on that spoiler movie. Did not want to know that. Fuck me for not being able to stay away from spoilers. Time to stay sway from each and every xcx thread till I've finished it myself. Still need to find a good import deal for a jp bundle on the right side of 500 euros. Goodbye for now:)

Correction, Narumi is already at chapter 10.
So he is really focusing on the story so don't watch it if you don't want to many spoiler.

I think I will stop watching him because I care more at the moment about the exploration and fighting monsters than the story. :p
But I really enjoyed to see his mecha flying around and I would've preered that he do more sidequests to see more explorations and flying mecha.

He's trying to rush the game for the sake of being the first to the finish line. It's not how I'll play the game or how you'll play the game but I can't blame someone for taking that approach when they get early access. I'll probably take a solid month to get where he's at.

On the bright side, I've been inspired by these streams on how to design my player character. Will be modeled after a certain someone in Virtue's Last Reward.

Yeah. With how Xenoblade is structured I'll play it like I do MMOs. Not care about story missions and just do everything else that's possible. I could wind up overleveled for story missions like I do in MMOs because of this, lol.
