Not open for further replies.
So were getting an Uncharted 4 trailer early and then maybe some gameplay on stage at the conference. Hmmm seems like a lot, then again was suppose to be ready to go for this fall.

Edit: Now that I'm thinking about it that world premiere could be a pretty good place to announce the remaster, that way they can just focus on U4 at the conference.

Ubisoft Predictions
  • Assassin's Creed Syndicate - They will show of character switching and an assassination mission on a Train.
  • Rainbow Six Siege Gameplay w/ pre-order beta available now
  • The Division Gameplay
  • Splinter Cell trailer (Possibly Gameplay?) w/ Release Window
  • Rayman trailer
  • Prince of Persia Reboot teaser trailer
  • Party Games

EA Predictions
  • Battlefront -10 minutes of gameplay
  • Mirrors Edge - Gameplay w/ Release Date
  • Need for Speed - Short demo w/ Release Date
  • Plants Vs Zombies 2 w/ Release Date

Hope this is true

But, Kaz.
I keep forgetting GT6 was a thing. Terrible decision making it a PS3 game. Maybe we'll actually see GT7 though. I'm going to keep my expectations in check and not expect a release this year but who knows? After Bloodborne, LBP3 and GT6 itself, Sony has been announcing some of its games pretty close to release. But then there's also The Order, Driveclub, and Uncharted 4...

SONY PREDICTIONS
* Opening montage. Shawn Layden is introduced to kick off the press conference.
* Debut gameplay for Star Wars: Battlefront. Exclusive content and a PS4 bundle are announced.
* Batman: Arkham Knight launch trailer. Talk up the PS4 bundle and exclusive content.
* Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. New trailer shown.
* Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate gameplay demo. PS4 exclusive content is announced.
* Beyond: Two Souls remastered is announced for PS4. Release date announced.
* Quick trailers for upcoming PS4 exclusives, release dates announced.
--- Tearaway: Unfolded
--- Rime
--- Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
--- Until Dawn
* Street Fighter V gameplay trailer. New character revealed.
* Indie section. Lots of new games announced for PS4, PS3 and Vita.
* Ratchet & Clank remake debut footage. Plus a new look at the movie.
* Brief section dedicated to Powers, talk about season two and announce a new PlayStation original series.
* Morpheus section. First look at a few titles in development.
--- A mini-game collection from Sony London.
--- No Man's Sky confirmed for Morpheus.
* No Man’s Sky new trailer. 2015 release announced.
* Persona 5 trailer. Confirmed for NA in 2016.
* Ni No Kuni 2 is announced. Debut trailer.
* Metal Gear Rising 2 announced. Teaser trailer.
* Guerrilla Games announces Horizon. Announcement trailer, release confirmed for 2016.
* Kazunori Yamauchi is introduced. Gran Turismo 7 is announced. Teaser trailer shown.
* Uncharted 4: A Thieves End new live demo. New trailer debuts after demo.
* Closing statements. THE END!

I don't think that's too unrealistic.

What's missing:
Uncharted Collection - I think this is in development, but I feel like it is still a little ways off. It would be nice if they had this ready for the holidays but I think they're purposely waiting until after Uncharted 4 releases to bring out this remaster. They don't want to risk franchise fatigue, that and an Uncharted Collection deserves better than to be rushed out the door to fill a need on store shelves. E3 2016 reveal.

Media Molecule - Whatever they're working on is the one game I want to see most from Sony's first party. LittleBigPlanet was arguably my favorite series on PS3. I think its pretty likely they're waiting until Tearaway: Unfolded ships to really start talking about their next game. Sony's Paris Games conference in October is where they'll be announcing their PS4 game IMO.

God of War 4 - Seems a tad early for GoW4. I guess I wouldn't be too surprised if they brought a teaser trailer to E3. PlayStation Experience (if its happening this year) is where I see this game being announced though.

Sony Bend - I wouldn't be surprised if Bend also announced their game at E3. But I am already predicting Horizon, GT7 and Ni No Kuni 2 to be unveiled. The smart move is probably to sit on this one a bit longer until Paris Games Week or PlayStation Experience.

The Last Guardian - TGS?

This seems so accurate that the conference will seem a tad boring. Nothing bad just totally expected. I want at least one real surprise.

I think thats accurate except for the uncharted collection being on the stage.

Am I the only one who feels pretty sure that the new Hitman is gonna show up?

Last year, IO Interactive made it very clear they wouldn't be at the event, and made sure to send out a message so people wouldn't be disappointed by the except.

This year, they're ninja silent.

That's a very reasonable list of expectations. I do think there will be a few surprises but the rest seems fairly expected. Ending it on Uncharted 4 seems somewhat anticlimatic however considering PSX opened on it.

I can sort of see why they kept it a PS3 release - GT5 was such a major investment and they no doubt wanted to maximise the engine, assets, etc with another release on a console with an 80 million install base. However, I can't help but feel they would have been better off delaying the likes of GT6, Puppeteer and probably God of War Ascension to make them all PS4 releases. It's not like the PS3 catalogue needed bolstering at that point in its lifetime, while the PS4 like any new console needs all the support it can get - especially first party stuff.

Pretty much what I was thinking except they might do a "one last thing" and show bends game or one of the games you talked about. I think TLG is going to be e3 2016.

They generally try to announce close to release. Sometimes it's not possible to make it and delays happen, and then for give titles like Uncharted you want everyone to know it's coming so you announce it further out. I honestly think GT7 needs a bit more hype time than 6 months.

Noticed that Headstrong Games (formerly Kuju London: Art Academy, Battalion Wars, HotD: Overkill) are hiring testers for a project releasing "this year":

http://www.headstrong-games.com/blog/2015/5/7/headstrong-recruiting-for-qa-positions

Headstrong are looking for experienced QA staff for their current project due for completion this year

Now they have some games in development, but I did wonder why they didn't name the title in question here. Just something worth following I guess.

Shrennin

Didn't get the memo regarding the 14th Amendment
One of the things Microsoft could do that would still help sell games for the Xbox One, but also bring hype to the PC community is perhaps releasing multiplayer only versions of its AAA titles for PC but the full game (single-player and whatnot) would only be on the Xbox One. The PC multiplayer versions would obviously be for a heavily discounted price/both would be available if you owned the Xbox One version/free maybe. Imagine Microsoft announcing Halo 5 for XBox One but then revealing that you can play cross-platform with PC since PC will have Halo 5 multiplayer, and Xbox One players would instantly get access to that for Windows 10 for free while PC players would get it for $10 or something.

This obviously won't happen, but that could potentially be a good way to go about it so the Xbox One can still differentiate itself from the PC. Also, obviously this should only happen for intended exclusives for the Xbox One, not titles that would normally be planned for both PC and Xbox One (but may be Microsoft published).

Realistically less than half of that will show up. Sony showed about 20 games in 2 hours. There is no way they will do 28 in 90.

Since a lot of those game were announced last year at E3 they need extensive gameplay sequences of about 5 minutes each.

I might be over doing it as well. Some have to be left until Gamescom.

Well the thing is that the games announced last year that will be for 2016 don't need 5 minutes dedicated to them. Stuff like Scalebound, Crackdown, and Quantum Break combined could equal around 5 minutes this E3, but get more coverage at Gamescom, TGS, and even next years E3. Gears Remastered would take a very short amount of time as it's just Gears 1, but remastered.

The only big time sinks would be Halo 5, Tomb Raider, and CoD if that shows up. With Ubisoft, EA, and now Square Enix having their own conferences, MS would only need to do small trailers for those third party games to hype up the crowd for that respective publishers conference, allowing more time for first party games, which is something Phil has talked about.

And how the hell did Sony only show 20 games last year? What were they doing?

I normally only care about what Nintendo announce at E3, however this year I am look forward to what all 3 have to show and offer.

Phil Spencer seems to be doing great with the back on track focus of the XBOX brand with games, which I hope pans out this year.

For Sony, I hope we get something that isn't just remasters or indies. I'm hoping for a SW Battlefront bundle announcement.

In regards to Nintendo, I'm looking forward to what they've already announced for this year. Obviously if previous years are any indication, they will have a couple of megatons. Not counting on it, but a reveal of whatever Retro is working on would be splendid. I would laugh if they revealed another DK game. I'd rather it be Metroid Prime or something Metroid, however something new would be good as well.

I'm thinking/hoping/predicting we will see something new and visually stunning from Quantic Dream. They've been dead silent since their weird tech demo in 2013

I think that's what many of us were expecting until Sony announced that their European conference was moving to the Paris Games Week. It's now more likely that we'll see Quantic Dream's next game there than at E3. Same goes for the next appearance for WILD.

I'm actually not convinced Street Fighter V will be at E3.

God I'm hype. I want to see Battlefront, SFV, Mirror's Edge 2, Star Fox, Scalebound, Deus Ex and I just know there will be a bunch of surprises. Should be a hawt E3.

There will be tears and gnashing of teeth. Betrayalton?
GAF will both love and hate EA. I hate them already
Ubisoft will continue to Ubisoft us all. Wake me up when they announce a new Rayman
Sony has several nice montages. And hats. Yuss!!!
MS realises that runner up medals don't please investors. Or publishers. What does this mean?, i'm legit intrigued...
There will be more colours than brown, blue or orange. I foolishly hope this means more platformers

So any news on the TLG guy?...

Honestly, that's so vague.

LMAO dude what're you smoking that's not vague at all. He straight up says they're preparing things for E3. That means they'll be there with a game exclusive to PS4 and Capcom doesn't have its own conference. Where the hell else do you expect them to be?

I'd be pretty hyped if MS were to do almost all of this.

My prediction is pretty much this.

I feel like out of all, EA will steal the show. If they show Mass Effect, I'm done. They win. I don't care about anything but that tbh

In regards to Doom, isn't that pretty much a given as far as Bethesda reveals are concerned ? Also have they ever revealed a game at E3 and released in the fall of the same year ?

I don't expect Doom to be out this year, but assuming that it's good, would be awesome.

more than anything, what i really wanna see more at e3 is that new star wars game visceral is working on. i hope its a story driven tps with a bouny hunter antihero, in the vein of 1313. i really want that.. not hyped for battlefront, since they dont have any singleplayer campaign at all (i think), and are just battlefield games with a sw skin on them.

other than that, more info about the next mass effect game would be nice. (this is actually somewhat likely since alot of infos been already leaked)

so i guess ea's conference is the one im most looking forward to. way to set yourself up for disappointment..

You guys think it's time for a RE7 reveal?

I hope so! RE6 and Revelations came out in the same year IIRC, so it's not impossible to get another one this year. 3 years between mainline games seems like more than enough to get a decent sequel, as long as it's a lot more focused than 6 was.
