Cheers! The attention to detail is staggering.

Does anyone else's grahic settings change to 'low' after editing in .ini ? For some reason shadows, water, grass and foliage, all of which I set to higher values in .ini switched from ultra to low in the video options. I'm not sure if that means it's been overridden by the .ini settings or if it's actually low in game :-s

Yes. The sliders default to 'low' if it can't recognize the setting. Don't worry about it :)

I did indeed.

Free camera, FOV, timestop, time of day. Also a slightly more conevient way to toggle the HUD. Should be adequate for now until someone inevitably makes something better.

I'll put a guide together for it some time tonight. Too busy playing the game :)

Here's the table

I'd post it in the OT, but it's moving so fast that nobody would notice :p

And a screenshot for good measure.

Apparently 1 side effect of really high res shots is that you get circular banding around the sun rays =(

Some of those Witcher 3 shots are insane. I don't know what game I bought that is titled TW3, but it doesn't appear to be the one I'm seeing displayed in many screens ITT. Not even on ultra. Some of those seem to look about as good as the 2013 footage.

It's called rendering them in much higher, often unplayable resolutions. Great for screenshots, not so much for giving non owners an idea of what it will look like when played.

Thanks :)

The Witcher 3 with modified settings in .ini

So I started a new save. Been so busy rushing from one area to another taking screenshots that I haven't been paying attention to much else. So going back to the opening area I explored the castle a little. It's very pretty..

TW3 is gorgeous when you get some decent IQ. Really could use some reflections on the water aside from just Geralt though. Old official screenshots had gorgeous water reflections

My shots were 5120x2160, which runs at 30-35 FPS. Even with a few config tweaks.

Whaaaat! Did you add another 980? At 4k 30Frames locked i'm almost at the limit with 2x970's at Ulltra settings. I took these shots at 5k with Andy's FPS Killer config and i run between ~10 to 23 frames lol. Game's quite heavy but veeery beautifull in motion. Just messing around with reshade here going full of sharpencontrasty less colour

This thread is beginning to look like 2015 The Witcher 3 Screenshot Thread of the Only Place Where Compression Isn't.

Not that I'm complaining, the game looks gorgeous.

Managed to crank everything up to 1620p with INI tweaks and OC. Still runs at 70-80 fps. Some uncompressed PNG shots from very early in the game. Since I still have some headroom, I might experiment with more lighting/LOD tweaks. We'll see

What kinda hardware you running this on?

Wouldn't know about that... There's some compressed shots flying around every now and then. Next year the thread should be named 2016 PC Screenshot Thread of Read The OP Before Posting (If You Don't, Get Rekt M8).

Dude's got like 2 TitanX's in his system. I'm really tempted to get another one myself... but I think I need a new power supply first.

Nice. You guys sure didn't waste time on that CE table :)

First of all, thanks to Jim2Point for is amazing work on WT3 CT.

I really need to try these INI tweaks... but I'm already having performance issues. Game's a bit stuttery for me regardless of resolution.

Also glad I'm not the only one still stuck in the opening area. Can't believe they managed to stuff 12 hours worth of content in there.

Anywho, here's a single high res shot from that ToD demonstration I posted.

I've tweak a little Burnes's settings (foliage density, grass & shadows distance) and its incredible how game looks here. Yes, crappy performance of curse, but very nice for take some great ss.

HUD shader removal with 3Dmigoto. Thanks to The Janitor for the help figuring out how to "fix" the shaders.

Your reshade is looking good guys. I tried something similar where the colors were desaturated but it reminded me of the Witcher 1 so I went with K-putt's preset for now. It's a bit more subtle on the colors.

Jim I don't know whether to love you or hate you. At least I would have had some social life before your cheat engine arrived. :p
