Well, FOX Engine seems to do alright on both PS3 and 360 while Gamebyro shat the bed very often, especially on PS3.

This is a gigantic open world title. Its not just about them graphiczzzzz

If they are going to support freaking 8+ year old hardware with 500mb of RAM there is no chance it doesn't impact game design and gameplay as well. I mean shit even the Far Cry 4 team said they had to make big compromises since it had to run on last gen hardware

I read for New Vegas, originally the team wanted to make the strip one big area, no loading screens between sections. What stopped this from happening was the low ram in lastgen systems gave them no choice but to split the areas up... i hope F4 isnt crossgen for sure.

Good that it's crossgen. I'll probably end up playing on PC, but Skyrim was certainly not a game held back by being on Xbox 360 or PS3. I'm glad more people will be able to play and enjoy this game.

Hopefully they can iron out the memory issues on PS3 this time.

Mabye Cross Gen won't be that bad. Hell, Far Cry 4 looks great on Ps4/X1 and it also has some of the most consistent framerate out of any current gen open world game

I imagined that allowing the Elder Scrolls Online put Bethesda Game Studios in a position of power regarding handling Fallout 4.

I can't see how this could be cross-gen without it being their choice. You'd think they earned that much with Skyrim's success.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. The hype came and went.

I guess I'll give a shit about Fallout V, but by the time that comes the PS5 will be out and it'll be cross-gen on PS5 and PS4. So, I guess I'm saying I'm done with the Fallout series.

How sad, over looking what could be an incredible game because it doesn't have the latest and greatest tech. (And that isn't even confirmed yet)

I mean, I played the shit out of Skyrim on Xbox, but saying it wasn't held back is super disengenuos. Dipped down to single frames in some combat situations, and let's not even talk about the PS3 debacle.
