360 and PS3 mentions have been removed from Google Tag Manager. Whole thing got cleaned up quick. Fallout 4 isn't even mentioned in it anymore.

If they are still using the Skyrim engine for it I don't think it would matter anyway, graphics wise.

That and the amount of sales Skyrim had, they probably want the same for Fallout, if it is cross-gen I know I won't be surprised.

The only good thing about it being cross gen is that it will be interesting to see how incredibly fucked up the PS3 version will be. Bethesda couldn't make a working PS3 version of their games when it was a priority,and now that it will probably be an afterthought? That shit will be unplayable is my guess.

Fallout 4 won't need Xbox 360/PS3 sales to eventually reach those numbers. When it launches, PS4/Xbox one combined would be a pretty healthy size to ensure that, and PC.

I mean, I played the shit out of Skyrim on Xbox, but saying it wasn't held back is super disengenuos. Dipped down to single frames in some combat situations, and let's not even talk about the PS3 debacle.

Didn't dip for me on PC, so it wasn't held back by that release. If it did on 360 during really intense fights I don't think that's the worst thing, since most of the time it was fine. At least millions more people were able to play that game.

I just recently played through Ground Zeroes on PS3, and I really didn't mind the framedrops during particularly intense fighting. Especially in that game where if you get in that situation you basically fucked up.

Is fun really that low of a priority for you?

Fun is subjective. Some of us expect a game being released in 2015-2016 that is a AAA game to take advantage of new hardware. If you don't, then oh well. The fun factor for many of us is influenced by how the game runs and a Fallout 4 on a machine with 512mb of ram is going to also be severely limited on the PS4/X1/PC.
