Since most of the pressure on Sony to update us on TLG is coming from outside Japan, makes more sense they would release info at E3 or maybe Gamescom.

I remember being hyped for The Last Guardian in 2009 before I'd ever played Ico or SoTC, just knew that they were cult classics

After playing both games remastered in 2012, I've gotta say my hype levels definitely went through the roof. What masterful games Team Ico created.

The fact that '2015 will be a little sparse' (to me) means that the number of (big) games releasing in 2015 from Sony is small. The number of games announced at E3 (for a release in 2016?) could be huge.

I can't believe they'd reannounce TLG if it wasn't the same year as release, or thereabouts. It's become too much of a protracted joke that announcing it coming a long way off would really highlight how absurd it's become.

I'd mostly be amazed and amused. Let's not forget that, for some people, the upcoming release of The Last Guardian was a major reason why they bought a PS3. So seeing them actually get what they wanted would make me smile somewhat.

Well, maybe it's because I just don't look hard enough for some.

Nobody is asking you to, but there's no reason why you wouldn't think Team ICO are still revered by some of the gaming community. Not everyone is a COD-head, a Skyrim-head or whatever you think that is against the trend like Bloodborne/Dark Souls supporters as the only pool of the entire core gaming spectrum. There are people, believe it or not, actually like games that go beyond these conventional titles. There's a 51 page thread for a game that is notoriously been teased at for over 7+ years for a reason.
