Yeah. If this turns out to be true, it'll probably in the same vein as Type-0, but swap out the old static background and character models for updated ones. Same camera angles, dialogue, story, and combat system.

FFXV-style remake is even less than a pipe dream. It'd be a miracle.

Big multiplats would be at SE's show maybe with a little time for exclusives. It would make more sense to leave exclusives at the platform holder's presser. Square would have a lot of titles to show regardless.


And seriously guys, why get yourself hyped up for disappointment. Keep expectations in check. Remember PSX?

Personally I would be expecting a remaster-esque remake by someone like Virtuos.

Higher resolution backgrounds with much newer looking character and enemy models, but nothing resembling something Ike Final Fantasy XV.

Can't give my word on the crazy Shenmue rumours but the FF VII remake is a real thing. They started production a few months ago and it will be announced this week for a 2017 release.

The Last Guardian is coming back too, Sony PR guys are giving appointments to the press and they plan to release it during the holiday season since Uncharted 4 is delayed until 2016.
