He knew all along....he knew !
I can see boosting sales if they play their cards right. Of course, they need to finish this game during this decade and leave the Fan Fic level side games and retcons aside.
Found this:
Oh please, Cloud was always pretty. Hence why the Honeybee scene even exists.cloud is already going to look like a girl in drag regardless with the AC design
but we wanted to do it with the original members."
lol he trolled people yet again by showing mobile KH before moving on to KH3.
Dude is a real legend and I think people love him now.lol
This. Jesus christ.
So here's a question:
Which would have made GAF happier? FF7HD or FF12HD?
- Game was already underway before the PS4 PC port was announced

They're definitely shooting for 2017.How fucking far out is this?
Good to know it already has a year of development under its belt.
It may not be a popular opinion, but I actually hope they add more cutscenes. >_>

Can't wait to see that wrestler pull that wig out of his pants in glorious HD.
It's a sequence I regularly forget even existed until topics of a FFVII remake pop up, and people decide to harp on it. The way a lot of folks talk about it, you'd think the game peaked in that pimp's bed room.I really think people are making a big deal of the crossdressing sequence. Bet it wont even be talked about much upon release
I hope the ending sequence doesn't suck this time.

stahp. the ending is perfect.I hope the ending sequence doesn't suck this time.
The former, without doubt.
FFVII ticks all the nostalgia boxes and is a game from lots of peoples' childhoods. Its been teased in the form of tech demos over the last decade, and the constant rumours of a potential remake gave some gamers a literal cathartic rush upon its announcement.
FFXII HD would be received well, but such reception would be dwarfed by that of FFVII remake.
If SE are banking on nostalgia then good luck to them.
Japanese FF7 fans will be what? 30 something salarymen now.
They'll be too burned out from work to even care about sinking 60+ hours into a remake of a game they played over a decade ago.
Console gaming in Japan is on a downward spiral and I can't see that changing.
It's pretty nuts that SE is just outright saying that they need this to save Japan.
Let me enter the hyperbolic time chamber, yo.
in a proper world, Sakaguchi and Kitase would be in charge with Nomura just doing character designs.
Can't wait to see the delicious sight of Cloud in a dress in glorious HD? "Please look forward to it," said Nomura as the interview came to a close.
FF XII is crap. Glad they decided not to remaster/remake it, unless they planned to fix the shitty battle system.
Shut your goddamn mouth. XII's battle system is the best in the series.FF XII is crap. Glad they decided not to remaster/remake it, unless they planned to fix the shitty battle system.
If they announced it after KH3 and FF15 were out?How fucking far out is this?
He trolled us good!
Ohh and it will certainly boost console sales. Hopefully a lot in japan

So SE think an FF7 remake will save home console gaming in Japan?
I don't see it happening.
