Damn, Cuphead looks awesome and honestly not the game I think would appeal to the console's "target audience", but here's hoping I'm wrong. It looks awesome and deserves to do well!

Would love if that starts becoming a trend. Cross buy for PC versions of XB1 games would be an assume incentive to go through the W10 store. They can keep Steam version, too, but cross buy for W10 store version would certainly get people using that store.
Was not aware it would be on PC, I guess I took the thread title too literally and missed that in the OP.

Damn I was really hoping for these to come to Ps4 (especially cuphead). No chance i'm buying an Xbone, don't really want to support Microsoft this gen and I don't do enough gaming nowadays to justify having all 3 consoles. Looks like I will have to get it on PC.

I think that they forget that Windows is Microsoft. They are still paying them no matter what.
The game looks amazing whether PC or Xbox One. I'm glad people are excited for it.
If MS is publishing, will likely be cross-buy so you won't have to decide.

I can't over how good Cup Head looks. I can't believe we have games like this.
Cuphead looks really difficult, I don't know if I'm going to buy it. Ashen looks right up my alley, so I'm eager to learn more.
If MS is publishing you'll be putting money in their pockets even if you buy on PC. It's probably best if you skip these all together so you don't put your integrity into question.

Unless arrangements change, it's coming to Steam per the game's website.
EDIT: If we ever see a game done with such meticulous attention to detail in the Tex Avery or Friz Freleng style, I could die happy.

Cuphead is the first game to truly get that playing a cartoon aesthetic. Simply incredible artstyle.

It's nice that a lot of games launch together with PC, pretty awesome. Still not sold on cuphead because last I hear it's just a boss rush game? Unless that changed.
I heard something about more traditional stages (can't find a source) but it's definitely boss-centric.

Cup head looks great but it needs to bake a bit from what I played at E3 yesterday. Someone at Disney or Warner Bothers needs to steal the art style and make a full plat former out of it.

PC/Wii U is the best combo. Best versions of all the third party games, lots of pc exclusives, and unparalleled first party games from Nintendo.
It's a 2016 release now, so it has some time.

That's initially what it was, but Microsoft gave them some funding to expand the scope of the game (it's no longer a series of boss battles) - which is why it's probably console exclusive and pushed to next year.

No, with the additional funding they're getting from Microsoft, they're expanding the game. That's why it got moved to 2016.
