Any tips on hosting an online ultra double elimination tourney? Tournament mode is only single elimination as far as I found. Easiest method was to just make a new endless lobby for ever match and re invite the two people playing and then all the spectators.

They're fine. Some people don't like Hori's Hayabusa lever or Kuro buttons, so factor in the cost of replacement parts if you don't like 'em. Still cheaper than a TE2!

I just ordered my Kai on Thursday. It will be here tomorrow.

Consensus seems to be that the stick (Hayabusa) is looser, meaning easier to move around. Most seem to like that, but some don't.

The buttons are Kuros, and are less sensitive than Sanwas. Takes a bit more effort to press them down.

The big question is input lag. The V Silent has about 15ms lag, which is a whole frame. Pretty big deal. MCZ has about 5ms in comparison. No one knows what the Kai has, but some suspect it will share V Silent lag.

Hoping the Kai has the V4 chipset.

Lack of Jwong, FChamp, and ChrisG really hurt Marvel hype. I mean it wasn't going to be as big as last year regardless imo but lack of the biggest names has hurt it. I usually love watching marvel but this top 8 is meh just from a hype perspective, not saying those dudes aren't deserving bc clearly they are but there's no big "story lines" to root for.

Its a 50/50 for me, I hate it yet find it necessary to find some level of technicality to it so people don't abuse it. Luckily that wasn't the case in SF4 cause I would have raged from the invincibility frames dashes have. SFV is a different story but it'll be kind of a weak design to make it a two button input. It has to be for a faster paced game with huge hitboxes like Marvel.

On a pad I don't have any issues with double tap, but on a stick I can see where you're coming from... but then again I dislike using a stick, a lesson hard learned over about 2 or 3 years of trying my damnest to use one :3
