Just go to a store where the employees are lazy. They're less than likely to give a shit.
I tried at my Wal-Mart, spent a hour there waiting for approval. Turns out, the item on that mobile website is accessible, but it's out of stock, and Wal-Mart's price match policy stays the item has to be in stock. This is why when they look at the desktop site, the item isn't even listed, or you can't find it.

1st said they don't price match game consoles or some crap
2nd (I called ahead, didn't want to drive the distance just to be denied)
The guy from electronics picked up the phone and I hear his manager/sup laughing in the background saying "another pricematch Kmart ps4 , tell him hell no etc "

A lot of lucky and a lot of timing : The Walmart.com website fiasco was only hours long.
I've always found friendly and (not overly) chatty helps; If you're nice people want to be nice to you.
There's also another deal and you may see the same person so if not luck just thank them, wish them a good day and better luck next time.

I just got back from TRU, luckily they were open until 10pm. Sounds like I wasn't the first one to do the match either. I walked back and got the last black one. They had one black and two red in stock. Girl called the manager, he matched it no question. Barely even had to show them the phone for proof..."Yep, no problem...got it". Boom. Great deal. I was on the fence with upgrading over my regular XL but can't beat that. For everyone trying to get in on this, don't waste time...just hit up Toys R Us. Thanks again GAF.

BB, target, walmart all said that there has to be a Kmart in town for them to price match. I havent seen a kmart in years
Do you have a Toys R Us local? Once again...forget BB and Target. TRU seems to be the best bet.

I kind of had luck. They were out of the standard edition so they hooked me up with the last of us bundle for $300 ($276 before tax). But they were 100% ready to give me one for $200.
I know it's YMMV, but how is Toys with checking if the item is 'out of stock'? I mean on the mobile website, unless you click 'add to cart' you won't know if it's OOS or not.
They do price match with kmart.com, I was just there. They insisted I had to add it to the cart, which I obviously couldn't do. Ah well.

I went to Target and have never done it at Toys R us. I asked the cashier if he would price match and he said no problem without looking at it. Then he asked how much of a difference it is and he had to call a manager over. Thr manager just checked the price and sku on my phone and that was it.

So me and my best friend got the PS4 to work at Toys R' Us. They accepted it with pretty much no argument. Just one look over the mobile version on our phone, they were just as excited about it as we were. Unfortunately I couldn't get one because of recent car repairs and a lack of money, but at least my friend could get it. So I'll be happy with that.

Try different stores and keep trying. After 4 stores and 3.5 hours, I finally tried Wal Mart and they price matched! And it wasn't "lazy incompetent cashiers" or anything like that, I talked to the manager, he cleared it over the phone, and they sold me the Arkham Knight PS4 bundle for $200! As a sign of good will, I'll buy my next PS4 games at that store so they get my business.
But keep hunting, it's worth trying everything for a sale like this. Good luck!
Kmarts website says out of stock and best buy will call the closest store you're trying to price match to see if it's I'm stock, its not a new thing. They've done it for years and Kmart as a whole doesn't have it in stock. Almost every physical Kmart got rid of all their video games months ago.
It's clearly out of stock. If Kmart as a whole had it in stock people wouldn't have to price match places, they could go to their kmart or order it online.
Not that I really give a shit. Just people shouldnt act like stores have to price match this. If they do its because they didn't look at the link very well because I don't know of any store that price matches an out of stock item.
People shold try the stores with employees who care the least like Walmart or toys r us.

The walmart I went to doesn't apparently for some reason. It's been a while since I've had such a shitty experience with customer service. Just some rude asshole on the phone interrupting me every chance I try to speak "can't price match over the phone." Alright fuck it I'll drive there, only to have the two sales reps there ignore me as they yell at each other across the store until I finally get the lady's attention. Only to be told they wont price match with kmart. Complete fuckin waste of time.
I envy those who were able to get this deal. I'll try sears tomorrow.

Something like "hey man, I wanted to check if Wal Mart is price matching the K Mart video game sale. They're doing half-off on some systems, but I wanted to check here first because I'd rather shop at Wal Mart". Then I showed him the phone, he said that they do price match K Mart, and then we basically shot the shit for awhile while he got approval. Basically, the strategy is to be nice and personable, so they'll want to do the deal IF they can. Like any negotiation, really.

Walmart priced match a black one for me...$105 out the door. Stopped at GameStop across the street and picked up a used copy of ALBW to be my first game for it. Have never owned a 3DS and never thought I would.

Dunno why I tried Target because their policies clearly don't list Kmart.com. But after getting it from the cabinet and taking it to guest services, the attendant looked at it and rung it up. She also showed her co-attendant who agreed they could do it. Score!

But obviously you can get lucky and find a manager that actually doesn't care at all. If it gets out of hand though, expect corporate to send out a bulletin about it as they typically do.

I got walmart to pm the n3ds. The kmart price seems legit, as I called my local store and they didn't even sell consoles anymore, so likely a clearance.
They couldn't do the ps4 though since they only had bundles. Probably just as well, I wanted to wait for a 1tb model this fall/spring anyways.

Before getting it to work at Wal Mart, I tried my local K Mart, but they'd long since cleared out all of their gaming section (to sell online). So I'd advise that you first call the store and see if they even have a gaming section.

I tried out two Targets with no luck, even though they said they could do it when I talked to them over the phone. I'll try BB and TRU tomorrow, hopefully the deal's still up.
