Wario's Gold Rush is my most played and most starred level, but I'm surprised the rate of completion is so low at 21.66%. I didn't think it was that hard...

First level I've made. Short and mainly consists of one puzzle.
 
If you don't want it to be tricky, that's fine - I wasn't criticising, just measuring :)

Oh no, I knew you weren't, sorry for the poor punctuation use there, didn't mean to sound short. Criticize away! :)

For a pinch point I mean if you take the high route (which I did first time) you can just stay up there and you miss the rest of the level. So maybe you could guide into the middle (or wherever) so everyone has go through one section. Entirely up to you though - you may prefer it open and explorable.


For a warp pipe, put a pipe down then drag Mario onto it. You'll need to have unlocked sub levels to do that.

Yep, indeed, though you should have about 12 seconds left at the flagpole, so a brave player may want to make use of that final coin bonus bit.

And yes, the double thwomps are tough if you don't go left first, but oddly there are very few deaths there compared to other areas of the map.

As I was saying earlier, the death map is the best thing about this game, and I wish we could enlarge it.

There's some room for fun improvisation, shell tricks and technical runs if you enjoy exploring the mechanics through alternative paths and combos. Tried to incorporate a smooth speed run as well, 20 sec or under qualifies.

It appears I spoke a bit too soon, the game actually got delivered to me today but the parcel was too big for my mailbox and was dropped off at the local grocery store. So I ran there and picked up my copy. :)

Layout wise I like it quite a bit, if a tad short. Aesthetically try using some of the other blocks instead of the ground blocks everywhere, especially in mid air

What I've wanted to do for the longest time since this game was announced is make a level based on the "microwave hallway" from Metal Gear Solid 4. Just mash a button over and over in desperation to win.

Here's my preliminary version of that concept that I put together last night:

I liked this one, even if it's a bit short. Maybe use Bowser to make some sort of Zelda style puzzle boss at the end if you can think of something? He kind of just shoots a few fireballs the way he is now.

Question about amiibo, does using your own personal one unlock it in game or does it just give you access to one version of the costume for any level and to use multiple you have to unlock the costume in game

Its pretty cool once you get the jump flow down, but I cant figure out how to get that propeller hat in time.

Is there a menu option to scan amiibos?

Edit mode and just tap em.

I mostly liked it. Only that section before Bowser where you had to jump on the cannon was a bit unintuitive. Wasn't really sure what to do or even where to go for a while. Especially after everything before it was always shown with coins. But it was fun, took me a few tries, though.

If you miss him between the 2 walls u get him after if you continue. I did a lot of testing

Gotcha, back to it then. I WILL beat that level lol.

EDIT: Ooooh you ride the...huh. Guess I should've tried that first.


Also can we make Super Troopas by dragging a feather onto them? Would be nice.

Where is the list of unlocks? I've played the 100 & 10 mario challenges and didn't get much unlocked yet. I didn't see anything in the OP about it. What did I miss ?
 
Click the mystery shroom. Place it. Click the one you placed.

Also, how long does it take for the "early delivery" of new items? I played for a while earlier and got the new stuff tomorrow message. Been playing for a while and haven't gotten anything yet.
