I mean it would've made perfect sense, story-wise, to destroy the Dark One curse at this point, after having half an entire season about that. That would've been a step towards everyone having a happy ending at the end of the show, whenever that may be.
But now, there are two options:
1) The Dark One curse is still around at the end of the show, meaning somebody doesn't get a happy ending, which is kinda counter to what the entire show is about, or
2) They revisit the "destroy the Dark One curse" plot, which would feel like a rehash of this season.
And I don't like how they just kinda dropped the King Arthur subplot. What happened to Arthur and the Camelot folks? What happened to Lancelot? I don't think we ever even saw Lancelot in Storybrooke, did we?
Also I really wonder how they're going to explain why Emma brings back Hook and not Neil.
Man, I'm just not really happy with this show at all right now. Which is a shame because most of this half-season was really promising. It's just the way they decided to wrap it up that kinda sucked.
