Nah, it's absolutely nothing like that. I'm not saying that women will be physically directly in harm's way (though culture of rape and objectification of women is not a coincidence IMO), I'm saying that sexual objectification is societally problematic. Absolutely nothing like the Jack Thompson-style argument against violent video games training Johnny to be a killer.
Videogames, even less so niche/cartoon fanservice titles that need to be imported, won't have any impact on a serious discourse of reception of women, outside of anyone who's already shaped that way. So it's the same as the gunnuts for which certain people blamed violent videogames, because they didn't understand that most actually comprehend the difference between a game and reality after all. Normal people go out to watch fanservice and gore wilfully to be entertained, understanding that they are watching fiction and not ideologies. Others that take entertainment media as an underline for their worldview are idiots that you'll never get rid off anyway, regardless of whether fanservice games exist or not.
