Probably not. I worked with some people who used to be at EA for the project, but they said that after SSX shipped, several people from that team got folded into the FIFA and NHL teams. Some probably left EA entirely or got moved to other teams, I'm not sure.
I think Todd Batty (CD for SSX2012) even said that it was a huge challenge to get it greenlit. They had a big plan for supporting the franchise if it the reboot was a big success, but nothing really panned out. They had an admirable amount of post-launch support, but I don't really think that was part of the "big plan" I and others had heard from Batty when we visited EA Burnaby before SSX launched. (I wasn't working in the industry at the time.)
If you look at the sports genre now, I don't really think extreme sports really even sell well, so they're not put into production anymore. We're kind of past the point where things like skate and snowboarding games come out from AAA studios. Look at the last Tony Hawk games, as an example.
