The Mario sports games are generally pretty well done for what they are, would be a shame to see them stick to Tennis and Golf for the rest of time.
The helmets are kind of funny to see, interesting if Nintendo would be more pulled toward the iconic characters or "setting a good example" considering the controversy lately.

Instead of focusing on the fact that the concept renders are just concepts and bad in some respects. I just want to say that I'd love a Mario football game. I miss arcadey football games like Blitz, but don't really want a new Blitz.
Overall Nintendo really needs to pick up it's Mario sports games game again.

That's not even mentioning the Goombas. Their lack of arms would make playing defense pretty interesting.

Boo, that sucks, it had the absolutely best cast of any Mario sport game ever.
That's not film grain, he's just using an insufficient number of samples in his renderer (you can tell this from the fact that the noise is substantially more prevalent on indirectly lit surfaces).

The way the Reddit user made it seem is that the 13 characters would be limited to the role of Quarterback. The other 10 players on the field would be relegated to the "B-List" characters (i.e. Shy Guy, Koopa, Goomba, etc.).
Imagine the possibilities with Amiibo compatibility.

Never knew I wanted this, but I do. Mario and the good ol' game of 'Murrican Football is a match made in Vince Lombardi's Football heaven.

Nintendo could have easily supported their own network of satellite studios that together would be in charge of all kinds of Mario sports games, with a different one coming out each year. I imagine almost all of them would be profitable.
