I think we should, since the show is coming back in a big way and they're calling it a new season (even though it ain't). I said as much when Summer of Steven was announced. Don't know what the GAF protocol is for new threads when shows transition from one season to another: some keep it all contained in one thread if traffic is low, and other more popular shows get new OTs every season. Personally, I think SU is popular enough to warrant a new thread, though others might see differently.
But I doubt we'll ever top this thread's title... it's too good.
Considering we are at 100 pages nearly in a thread with no new episodes for 4 months I think a new thread isn't a bad idea. We are going to be burning through episodes this summer and if S1 was any indication, with of the In Too Deep event being a preview of what is to come, we are going to get some major bomb after bomb in what was supposed to be the second half of S2.
I will miss this OT title tho.

Neato these two things arrived a tad early than I expected in the mail. Over The Garden Wall and Steven Universe Season 1 Blu-rays.
Went and checked a bunch of the episodes and yeps looks like its the exact same episodes that aired in the US. No censored episodes from the six I checked.
It's a pretty barebones release but it still feels great to have all of season 1 all together and in that Blu-ray goodness. The pilot though appears to just be an upscaled version of the one that was released on the DVD's a while ago which is a shame.

Awesome, I'll be getting my season set on Thursday. I don't care too much about it being bare bones because I'm just ripping all the episodes to watch over Plex anyway.

Is it a leak though if CN chooses to release it as marketing material. But yeah pretty funny how they somehow mange to keep choosing spoilery images to memefy heh.

That's the only important character I could see Steven being so dismissive to by wanting them to leave forever. Well, either her or Onion, but this set of episodes has been built up as a big helping of plot.

Agreed, which raises a whole nest of questions- why, for example, would Garnet not IMMEDIATELY bubble her? I could see Steven intervening on moral grounds, but I couldn't then see him being so dismissive of her later.

You see, this is the bit where I get greedy and wish we were having a Bomb instead. An episode a week is not enough. :S
I'm fine with an ep a week I mean we then have a week to talk about it, break down any preview we have, and come up with theories.
I won't lie. With the title "Hit the Diamond," I was expecting something else than the obvious being a baseball-themed episode. However, I think it'd be hilarious if Jasper unintentionally knocks an airplane out of the sky with a single swing at the bat.
He's growing up so his voice is changing
His voice has gotten squeakier. 3 years ago he used a deeper voice, now it seems he either pitches up or there's some voice altering happening.
