...it turns out that Vinny, Austin, and Alex were all figments of Jeff Bakalars imagination. That's right, we've been hearing Bakalar carry podcasts by himself all this time. He's also a master dresser in that he managed to disguise himself as 4 different people..

Apparently Platinum's TMNT is terrible, such a shame. I got the game mainly for the co-op, something tells me the game was built around it rather than playing alone. I'll judge it for myself when I play it later.

This is coming from someone who enjoyed their Avatar game(especially after upgrading), Transformers is probably the best of the bunch when it comes to these low ass budget games from Platinum.

Quick glance at Wikipedia and it looks like the Korra director did TMNT as well as designing it, different from the director and designers of the Transformer game.

I enjoyed Korra but it's definitely LOW TIER Platinum. In other news, I haven't had this much fun playing support/healer in a game than in Overwatch. That game is alright.

Gonna watch Breaking Brad's Demon's Souls run, never actually saw it!

I think it's going to be a juggernaut for Blizzard. The last MP shooters I was able to really get into were Battlefield 2 and Halo 3, because they're such time commitments to not be terrible - but Overwatch has nailed this pick-up-and-play feeling where, if you follow the objective, you can always help your team regardless of how often you're able to play.

it's one of those games like GTA or Diablo that makes like everybody I know drag out their consoles/computers; people who play like one game a year. the game seems huge just from personal observation

I think Jeff likes Blizzard games more than he thinks he does. He said he wasn't usually into Blizzard stuff on the steam but I'm sure he spent a lot of time in WoW, Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2?

And now Overwatch.

That's basically all their shit.

Maybe I misinterpreted what he said.

Also 2016 is a fucking rad year for video games. Overwatch looks like another GOTY contender. We've not even hit E3 yet.

But he also fell off of WoW and Starcraft 2 pretty early and doesn't seem to have much of an interest in going back to them.

And yeah this year is nuts for games, three strong GOTY contenders have released in May alone.

From everything I've seen the Overwatch servers held up remarkably well. Are we finally past the era where week one of hugely popular MP games are a shit show due to the player population being like 10 times the typical load? I'm guessing it's due to the fact that most of the big server providers now have the ability to spin up servers based on load and these companies no longer have to make a ridiculous investment for day one load, that they will never see anything close to after.

I think it's more Blizzard ensuring they don't have a repeat of the Diablo 3 launch. I'm sure we will continue to see massive MP launch failures for years to come.

Overwatch is going to be one of those games that people love and hate without ever actually touching it. I'm already seeing people getting mad about it on Tumblr and Reddit.

I want to play so bad.

Holy fuck, overwatch is so much fun.

I wreck shop with D.VA, Reinhart and torbjorn. The last two you can get some ridiculously good utility out of especially when everyone else in the team is just farting around. Reinhart's dash slam is so much fucking fun. When the team starts playing as a team (which is rare sometimes) you can seriously make a game saving push with his shield.

The whole experience is just so smooth too.
