Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel. Yabuki turned off voice chat in Mario Kart races. True artists of their time.
This looks awesome, and I can see it being P.T. which would make it even more awesome.

If I ever post something in Japanese which I don't understand, please BAN me.
First it starts as an action adventure game but a few hours in it will be something completely different.

YES KOJIMA, FUCK MY MIND!

I explain: nothing from the trailer actually suggested me what the actual game is going to be like other than experiencing crazy enviroments. While I understand that the game is very early in development, and that it's supposed to be an action game, the first thing I thought of when the trailer ended is that this was some sort of VR experience, without actual VR, just a technical demo.

Same. Though I might be wishing a bit too hard for it to be PT/Silent Hills.

I suppose I should just be happy that the new Resident Evil looks like it was heavily inspired by PT. Maybe it'll scratch that itch a bit.

Damn that Resident evil reveal was legit as hell I can't remember the last time I was excited for a new Resident evil game.
Now that I see some others get the same impression makes me believe again this might be silent hills in all, but name so that is good. :)

Its funny because the other day I saw a Facebook comment saying the guy in the suit looked like Reedus. Guess he was right.

Agreed. Reedus is Kojima -- the baby is PT.

I could not be more wrong. But this is what I want.

Guys, this is PT.

The child was the son he never had cause he murdered his pregnant wife. He was handcuffed because he was arrested for that. (Or did the guy kill himself? Can't remember PT's story all that well.)

Am I reaching?
Probably is related. The backstory we got in P.T even mentioned that the father commited suicide with the umbilical cord.

...The mother, who he shot in the stomach, was pregnant at the time. Police arriving on-scene after neighbors called 911 found the father in his car, listening to the radio. Several days before the murders, neighbors say they heard the father repeating a sequence of numbers in a loud voice. They said it was like he was chanting some strange spell. There was another family shot to death in the same state last month, and in December last year, a man used a rifle and meat cleaver to murder his entire family. In each case, the perpretrators were fathers. State police say the string of domestic homicides appears unrelated, though it could be part of a larger trend, such as employment, childcare, and other social issues facing the average family.

After killing his family, the father hung himself with a garden hose they had in the garage.
Note: You can hear a muffled voice saying "umbilical cord" instead of "garden hose" in the background.

Geoff is so great, he really asks the hot questions.

He doesn't get much out but at least he tries.

I have no clue what I just watched. I'm too confused to even get excited because I don't even know the genre of game this is.

Added to OP:

Info from Geoff Interview on YouTube:

- No involvement from Del Toro
- Kojima Productions logo has nothing to do with the game, it's just a logo
- It's an action game
- Game setting is still secret
- Kojima won't say the name of the main character
- Game will take "some time" to make, don't expect it soon
- Game name is related to the stranding of something that is dead, like a whale on a beach, something from some other world comes to a new place

If this is truly Kojima at his creatively freshest since Metal Gear Solid 1, then yes!! I'll take it! I've been waiting for and wondering about it, and 'bout time, dognabbit. >_<

Really interested in what he tries to do with this one, although honestly I do still have some skepticism...he's always been an enigma hasn't he. With MG behind him, I hope he can show just how much farther this myth can go.

...

This trailer was created to show the tech and some ideas. It's very early no doubt...like I don't know what you were expecting.

The interview with Geoff gave me the feeling that this was a badass teaser trailer and he has absolutely no idea what kind of game to make with it now.
