The dungeon design is top tier !

Hm, looks great, but I fear that the game is too easy in regard to combat.
Don't kill me, but it almost feels like a "my first Souls game". You're basically one-hit-killing enemies and they never attack you aggressively in larger mobs. Enemy encounters lack tension and urgency.

Well, let's wait and see, but this determines if I'll get the game, because all the "survival" mechanics scream for somewhat challenging gameplay. Maybe difficulty settings could solve this issue.

It does indeed feel like a family-friendly open world game mixed with classic Zelda elements.

BotW will probably not have wide appeal in terms of awards and sales, it's mainly for kids/Nintendo fans.

So rumor was true, over 100 mini dungeons meaning there are likely 4 large dungeons.

Also part of the rumor was the 'technology vs fantasy.' They mentioned at the start that technology would be a big part of it. Seems like the 4 dungeon part of the rumor is likely.

2 minutes into the game you hear a voice telling you were to go (if you want to continue the plot).

Also, A link between worlds was open ended too, but you had to deliver a sword first at least.

yeah that's what I meant. I get that it's open ended, but if there's no like restriction AT ALL for the first part of the game, that's huge for nintendo. There's usually at least a beginning story/level to introduce basic mechanics and plot elements.

I didn't even recognize her without blond hair. D:

Anyway, this mini-dungeon/shine stuff. Awesome. I'm loving all the Sheikah imagery, too. I feel I'm being spoiled.

Mini dungeons hidden all over the world sounds amazing. If there are traditional-style dungeons on top of that then just wow.

Edit: Yea, she just differentiated between shrines and dungeons

Speculation, but Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD both had great touch screen inventories, if the NX had a touch screen there would be no reason not to have one here too.

EDIT: I mean the home console NX, I would assume any handheld version would have a single touchscreen. Now speculating out of my ass.
I got you;) I haven't been paying too much attention to the inventory interaction. I noticed when a weapon was picked up, its mapped both to the d-pad and right analog stick. This made me pay more attention to how the camera is controlled which looks like is controlled with motion/tilting. Does anyone know if this is the case or if it can be disabled? I also noticed there's some type of hint system telling you where to go next. Hopefully they make that optional as well - like in Metroid Prime.
