Still waiting for UK suppliers to start listing the 1060 but according to PCAdvisor, the FE should be £275 and then 3rd party variants at £239. If that's true, that puts it in competition with the 480 where the 8GB version is priced around the same, I would definitely pick up a 1060 if true.

Easily, you should still have ~150-200W headroom under load. Just look at some reviews that list the power draw of the whole system.
