My opinion is that Hillary did well, but Trump surviving with the same ol random shit he says means he did "better" than Hillary. The fact that Hillary wasn't attempting to slam dunk any of the random crap he says means he really throws her off enough with his form of arguing- perhaps because she isn't used to arguing with semi-crazed ramblers.

Wtf is Pence thinking!? He's acting like Friday was Trump's last ever gaffe. I'm even ignoring his moral hypocrisy. Just purely from a tactical perspective how is he going to deal with this on Wednesday when the next one drops?

The Republicans have disappointed me this year with how straight up dumb they've been. Like at least Cheney era evil was devious.

I think this is his only real path in his mind that keeps him politically relevant. Hell before he became the only person willing to be Trump's VP he was an incredibly unpopular Governor that the establishment was likely to forget down the line.

He knows that these crazy voters arent going anywhere and he has as good a shot as any Republican to get their support.

Republicans going to need to add a shit ton of super delegates or something to change the outcome of their primaries for the next 10-20 years.

He's memorable with his large frame and bright red sweater. During a night of people drinking themselves half to death in order to bring sweet relief from the horror that was Donald Trump he was a nice kind of innocent throwback to a time of old.

Also his name is Ken Bone.

What I found funny regarding this debate and people (here on GAF and Trump supporters afterwards) saying that Trump won. It is funny because those reasons people give to why he won were the same reasons why they(ESPECIALLY Right-wingers/Conservatives/Republicans) were criticizing Kaine, constantly talking over their opponent and rambling on like a mad man. Right-wingers were bitching about Kaine being unfair to Pence and Pence winning that debate because he kept his cool and remained professional, yet praise Donald for going crazy and acting like a man-child on the verge of self-destruction. They consider Hillary the weak opponent in this round, even though, for the most part, she kept her cool while Trump was hyperventilating through his conniption fits. Again, the Republican/Right-wing/Conservatives stand long and tall by the motto, "Do as I say, not as I do." and worship at the Church of Hypocrisy.

Why do people not understand that the only people he was speaking to was his own rabid base. He was playing his supporters and his supporters only. He didn't sway anyone, he didn't win new voters. He is way behind and he needed to appeal to people outside his camp.

It will probably be ignored but it's actually quite damning. Sputnik (a Russian propaganda arm) took 2 sentences out of a 10k word Newsweek article out of context, misattributing them to someone else and put them in their article (which they were calling an 'October surprise'). Trump used those same two sentences with the same misattribution on stage. The only two sources in the world for that combination of sentences and misattribution are a Russian propaganda arm, and Trump (the article was never published anywhere else and was taken down). Take from that what you will.

WAY too complicated and conspiratorial for people to latch onto easily. Seriously, I hate Trump as much the next guy but time and time and time and time again it has been shown that if the information is not immediately and directly damning (i.e; if it requires understanding a sequence of events) nobody cares.

That's why the tape blew up. It's VERY easy to process - Trump recorded saying rapey stuff. No context is needed.

Also the author is severely undermining his own credibility by spamming the ever-loving shit out of his own article on Twitter (like... over 50 tweets about it). He's right, but it's super cheesy and desperate seeming behavior. Present your information in a clean and professional way, the rest is in the public's hands.

Echoes similar mistakes people made with the DNC leaks, and other leaks. That a major presidential candidate is doing this...ugh, I've used that phrase to start too many sentences this year.

I cannot believe that Glenn Fucking Beck is voting for Clinton

EDIT: Well, NOT voting for Trump. He didn't endorse Clinton. Just basically said she is the lesser of two evils at this point and won't vote for Trump. He says at least you can stonewall Clinton.

Fuck it though, if we can say Bernie Busters are essentially voting for Trump I can say this dude if voting for Clinton. Feels good ma-- err.

Donald Trump is unquestionably the most consequential figure of 2016. He is destroying one of the two major political parties of the most powerful country in the world. The shockwaves from his candidacy and its implosion are going to be felt for a long, long time.
